Chapter 3: 3. Abilities
A few minutes went by, still in his current form. Dante was in shock and out of breath. After finding out, Dante is the son of his leader's enemy, Lenor was in shock, but quickly denied the possibility, until the guy said
"He is indeed the son of "Merex Devix", I am sure of it"
"TAKE YOUR LIES AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!, TELL THEM TO SOMEONE WHO WILL BELIEVE YOU!!!." Lenor screamed
"Wait, tell me, who are you and how do you know of me" Dante asked
"I'll gladly tell you who I am, My name is "Vernen Decema", I'm part of the "Decema Family", My family and your family, the Devix family, were great friends. We would protect each other, but, as you may know, the Devix family doesn't need saving. Anyway, we were close, until the Denazi family came along, the Devix family saw that as a threat, and then the wars started. There were a total of five wars, each one destroyed the surrounding families, but, the final one was the worst of the worst. Before my family were wiped out, we called that war, "The Cloud that took out the sun". Anyway, the part where you come in, was near the end of the war, around the creation of "The Eye of Destruction", the Devix family created it for revenge, remember, my family and the Denzai family were close, so when the Denazi family attacked, that angered the Devix family very much. I saved you Dante from an assassination attempt from the Denazi family" Vernen explained
"I didn't now y family had such a dark past" Lenor said
"Not only that, each of our families have a special ability that only that family can learn or have" Vernen said
"Really? what are they?" Dante asked
"Well, for starters, each family have special weapons that only they use. The Denazi family use knifes, the Devix family use swords and my family, the Decema family, use two things, one is a powerful auto-target pistol with a small knife attached. The second weapon are two daggers. The cool part about those daggers is that if I'm in trouble, I could attach one of the daggers onto the other one and create a high speed blade that's razor sharp. It could also cut through almost anything." Vernen explained
"Those are some good weapons" Dante said
"They are, each weapon from each family has an upgraded form which can be used in war" Vernen said
"That's interesting" Lenor said
"Yeah, moving on to the special abilities, the Denzai family has the ability to over power their enemy for a short burst, this ability is mostly used when a member of the Denazi family is out numbered or surrounded. My family , the Decema family have the ability to read our enemies mind for a few seconds to know what their next move might be. The Devix family have a more hard-to-understand ability. All I could understand about the Devix family's ability is that, the families that tried learn the special ability of the Devix family either died, their family fell apart, or the families mysteriously disappeared with no clue to how they disappeared. I don't know much about the Devix family even though we were close allies, but, they are certainly dangerous. I'm just glad my Family and the Devix family were close allies." Vernen explained
"I see, so Dante's the son of my enemy" Lenor said
"I wouldn't have imagine that our families past would be so violent" Dante said
" let's just hope history doesn't repeat itself" Vernen said
Out of nowhere the unexpected happened
"DANTE!!!!!!, GET AWAY FROM THE ENEMY NOW!!!!!!!"
"LENOR MOVE NOW!!!!!
NO,NO IT CAN'T BE REAL, THEIR ALIVE!!!!
