Chapter 300: Future Pillars?

Back when Rila felt despair after sensing the energy accumulating below the river, she truly thought that Ban would surely perish. Even though she knew that Ban was a genius who awakened two Summons, the strength of a D-Master Rank was not something that could be overcome by mere numbers alone. If that was the case, multiple E-Elite Rank Summoners could have just raided a D-Master Rank themselves rather than requiring the help of two or more D-Master Rank Summoners. 

The accumulation of energy was so great that even she and Yakob would not be able to withstand it even if they had the help of their Summons. Her worry for Ban's safety was grounded. 

Rila no longer thought about her own safety as she left her tired Ostrich behind. Her body moved on its own towards the river, hoping to help Ban, although she was aware that she could do nothing than to add another form of casualty.
