Livana stirred in her sleep because of the sunlight coming from the window. They had forgotten to draw the curtains before going to bed it seemed. With everything that had happened that day, Rebecca being caught in Vicerya territory and all, it wasn't surprising. She stretched her arms above her head and yawn. Her head rolled to the side and her eyes landed on Kaeleb's bare back. He was still asleep. Her fingers were itching to reach out to him and touch his skin but she decided to let him sleep. And she could still feel the remainder of the pain she had felt last night when he had said he didn't want to claim her.
