Chapter 14: Chapter 13

The next day, a noise coming from the black doors made her jump in surprise. She was climbing down the stairs. She reached the grand hall and stopped on her track when another noise startled her. It sounded like someone was yelling. She started to walk again and went directly toward the closed black doors. She was about to reach them when they opened and Rebecca walked out and into the grand hall.

Now that the doors were open Livana could clearly recognize Nathaniel's voice. He sounded furious but she couldn't make out what he was saying. She looked straight at Rebecca's face to see that she was slightly grimacing. Obviously, she didn't like what was happening in the undergrounds right now. Rebecca's hazel eyes met her green ones and her grimace disappeared.
