Chapter 19: Zhang Wei in trouble
A few hours later I felt a rumble and opened my eyes to see Xu Rongfei finally manifesting the 'dominating fist'.
"Finally!" She shouted in relief.
"Congratulations, you can stay and continue to train or go home." I reply.
"I think I will stay until I get called and just train, thanks again for this." She replied with a slight blush.
"No problem. Oh, I'm getting a call, excuse me." I replied as I picked up my phone with the called ID being Zhang Wei.
"Feilong is your master there?!" Zhang Wei asked in a rushed tone.
"No, he has decided to head back to the sect and leave me to myself as I will be heading to the military tomorrow." I Replied.
"FUC....Are you free?" He asked.
"Yes, but what's the matter?" He asked.
"An overseas company that has cultivators are hunting me down for the pills your master has sent me." He replied.
"Where are you now?" I asked in a serious tone.
"I'm in my house, if you go to the vase in the middle of the room the table there will have a scratch on one side if you slit your nail across it the floor will open up and reveal a staircase to the secret room I'm in but come quickly as their beginning to wreck the house to find me." Zhang Wei says as crashing and banging noises could be heard in the background.
"Ill be there soon." I reply as I put the phone down.
"What's wrong?" Xu Rongfei asked.
"Some business, don't worry about it. Just use the key to lock up once you need to go." I said as I headed out of the garden.
'This is a bit earlier than I thought, I was planning on ranking up in the military and using my own personnel to protect Zhang Wei as I did not want to use formations but I have no choice now, it seems the military option will have to be put off and I will have to use Chen Fan instead. Whoever dared to do this will pay.'
I made my way to Zhang Wei's residence where I see three vehicles parked outside and feel the presence of 4 cultivators at the inner strength level.
"STOP!" One of the bodyguards outside the house shouted as I came closer and then continued to say "Stop or I'll shoot." as he upholstered his gun.
"Go ahead then." I reply to which he fires but it does not even put a graze on my head as the bullet drops to the floor and I use it to kill the man.
I continued to walk through the house killing the many guards with guns as I approached them I saw that the hidden room was already open to which I rushed down.
"Stop there, how did you get here?!" Asked one of the 4 cultivators there as they stood by a bloodied Zhang Wei who was barely alive.
"You dared to harm someone I see as my own? Now feel despair." I say as I use my soul technique mixed with a curse I had learned to make them feel trapped in an endless pain to which they all fell to the ground coughing blood as they slowly twitched until they drew their last breath beside one which was the strongest of the 4 who I left out of the curse but used the soul technique to suppress him.
"Wh-Who are you?" He asked stumbling in his words.
"There's no need for a deadman to know now is there." I reply as I began to use soul searching to see the people behind this.
I then walked over to Zhang Wei who I healed and asked "Are you ok?"
"Thanks to you." He replied.
"Let's get you up now shall we." I said as I helped him up.
"Thank you for this, I will forever be in your debt." He said with a bow gratefully.
"No problem you are my master's first friend here." I replied.
"If there is anything you need just let me know and I will do it without a second thought." He replied still bowing.
"Ok ok if it makes you feel better just look after Xu Ao as well as his daughter Xu Rongfei for me." I replied.
"I understand and it will be done." He replied.
'Although they do not need the protection and help it just puts me at ease that they will have another layer of protection.'
"One last thing take these and set them around anywhere you want to keep safe along with any cargo and keep one for yourself." I said as I handed him stones with a formation on them.
"Thank you. I will take good care of these." He replied as he got up from his bow.
"It's fine I will take my leave now." I said as I left the premises while burning each body.
I then make my way over to Chen Fan's villa and ring the doorbell to which a maid opens respectfully and leads me to Chen Fan who sat on a balcony cultivating.
"What do you need?" He asked.
"I will be leaving soon and wish for you to watch over Zhang Wei and his transportation of the pills my master has sent him." I replied.
"Don't worry I will get it done, anything else?" he asked.
"Stay away from Xu Rongfei." I said bluntly.
"Why?" He asked.
"You have no feeling for her so do not lead her on. This is my only warning if I see that you have continued to lead her on there will be consequences." I replied as I suppressed him a little.
"Ok, I got it. However, I ask that you allow me to sell what I wish while you are gone then." He replied.
"That's ok, I already know you're going to sell the spiritual water." I replied.
"In that case have a good trip." He replied.
"Before I go here take this." I said as I handed him a pill.
"What are these?" He asked.
"It's a pill that is equivalent to 10 days of cultivation in this array." I replied.
"I see." He answered as he examined the pill.
"I will take my leave then." I reply as I left and headed home preparing to leave leave.
A/N: Next chapter will probably be Chen Fan's view on many of the events and will be little time skips to each one I have done with him in it I think.
