Chapter 6: Chapter 6 Meet with Aoi (Rewrite)
After Kanda, Eris and Kio finished their lunch, they lazing around in Kio's room where Kio sat on his bed as he arranges some of his things for his club meeting in this evening.
As for Kanda can be seen laying down on the floor and Eris sat on the cushion where in front of her is a small table that filled with some food had been prepared beforehand.
They continued the talk that has been on hold for a while as they took their lunch before.
"So, what is the truth for your visit to Earth, Eris-san? Invasion?" Asked Kio curiously.
"No way! I came to make friends. If we invaded this planet, my race and I would be expunged by the Galactic Federation of Intelligence Life." Eris denied Kio's claim.
"What's that?" Asked Kio.
"It's a special organization headed by the Orsonions, a race that has evolved into pure thought. They're pretty scary, you know." Said Eris seriously.
"Eh? Then, what kind of alien are you?" Asked Kio again.
"We call our planet as Earth too, so we're Earthlings, but it seemed like that would quickly complicate things when we are here, so we decided to call it as Catia." Replied Eris.
Kio and Kanda tried to digest the information about Eris and her race as they also heard about other races of aliens although Kanda already accepts that fact as he already heard of the unknown being before he teleported here.
As they lose in thought, Eris starts to eat some of the food on the small table in the room before making comments on it.
"Oh, this has fatty miso in it! It's really good! How do you make this?" Said Eris excitedly.
"Well, you boil some baby back ribs, then chop them up finely. You add sweet wine and liquor and cook it all in some oil. Well, it's my favorite dish after Kio helps me before." Kanda explained on how he make the dish.
"That's true, Ichijou-san can easily cook what he had been taught. It's truly cheating as I need to try many times to cook this dish for the first time." Said Kio with envy.
"Well, what can I say, I'm just that talented." Said Kanda proudly before silently says in mind, "Though I have this <Basic Cooking> skill to emphasize more of my skill."

In Manami's house, a video recorder can be seen facing towards Kio's bedroom where Kio is talking with Kanda and Eris. As Manami sees the live footing through her laptop on the table, she pulls her drawer and wears a headset before trying to contact her supervisor through the transmission device.
"Hi. What's up, Manami? Said JACK.
"I've got some good info for you, JACK." Said Manami.
"Oh, great! What have you learned?" Asked JACK.
"Before that, JACK, I have one condition though. Please put me on this case." Said Manami.
"Oh...It's still too early to insert you in the middle of the action, Manami." Said JACK.
"Please! It'll be a lot easier for me to enter the 'Company' if we've cooperated on a mission." Persuaded Manami.
"Then I guess I have no choice, I'll put in a special request to aid in your training." JACK finally relent to Manami's wish.
"Thanks, JACK. Make sure to include it in your report." Said Manami as she gives her thanks.
"Sure. So, what's this info of yours?" Said JACK.
"I've sent you an image. I imagine this is who you were talking about." Said Manami as she send the file online.
JACK looks at the image sent by Manami before says, "Wow, jackpot. You hit the bull's eye. This info will allow you to join me during the mission."

In another place, a figure can be seen walking towards the computer before boots up the device which is Itokazu Maki.
[Welcome back, Captain]
"Thank you, HAL." Itokazu replied to the AI on her computer before she opened the chatroom.
"Hello, this is Ender." Itokazu starts the conversation.
"Hello, Ender-san. This is Kerberus." Said one of the people in the chatroom called Kerberus.
"Did you watch the TV broadcast?" Asked Itokazu.
"I did." Replied Kerberus short.
"It's too bad. I would have been more excited with something else like the 'Starlight' accident." Said another person inside the chatroom where people inside the chatroom agreed with him.
"On that subject, I have met the target that had been mentioned in the news." Said Itokazu as she drops the bomb at the conversation.
Various exclamations appear in the chatroom on the news of Itokazu's encounter with the alien.
"Did the alien look as anticipated? And have you talked with the target?" Asked Kerberus to Itokazu.
"The look not as we anticipated but I did talk with her, and she spoke Japanese." Answered Itokazu.
Great response can be seen from the activity of the chatroom.
"How infuriating! For something like that to be our first contact!" Said Itokazu frustratedly.
"This is a grave situation, Ender-san. We must take action immediately." Said Kerberus seriously.
"But, I cannot do anything alone." Said Itokazu.
"Don't worry, we'll send you some manpower. We have people in the navy and air force." Replied Kerberus.
"Thank you, Kerberus." Said Itokazu.
People inside the chatroom give full support on Itokazu's action.
"Don't worry...Everything is for Glorious Beautiful Contact!" Said Itokazu seriously.
Sentence of "Everything is for Glorious Beautiful Contact" appear once again in the chatroom which had covered the page of the chatroom.

Back to Kio's house.
Eris can be seen rolling around the floor while Kanda and Kio sat on the couch in the living room while watching TV after they spend some time in Kio's room.
"I'm full, and I can lie around the house! This is wonderful! As Aura said, there are people that will let me eat right away, and they let me dance and sing with them! The people here are really nice." Said Eris happily as she laying on the floor.
"Hahaha, people here always having fun either there is an outsider or not. Well, for the first-timer, they will a bit overwhelmed with the people here but after they knew the people here for a while, they will be alright." Said Kanda with a smile.
"Thank you for your praise, Eris. The people here are happy as long as someone likes to have fun with them." Said Kio with a smile.
"No, I should be thanking you all. If not, I will be starved and I do want to eat something delicious so I can write a report about that." Replied Eris honestly.
"Now that you mention it, I guess so. So, what are you going to do next for today?" Said Kio.
Eris tilt her head as she thinking before saying," I don't really have any plans. As I knew the reason for the people here not replied to our message from Ichijou-san, I need to wait for the mothership to arrive here first before we can decide anything."
"Then, I know you just got here, but could you watch the house for me? You'd only have to stay here. We need to go out for a while as I have my club meeting and Ichijou-san here needs to buy groceries for our dinner." Said Kio while asking for a favor from Eris.
"Yes, Eris. You wouldn't have to answer the phone, either. If someone comes, don't answer the door." Added Kanda as well.
"That doesn't really sound like watching the house." Said Eris with questioning looks.
"Well, it's kind of hard with those ears and tail." Said Kio vaguely.
"Oh, I guess I am an alien." Said Eris with realisation.
"Well, not really. You just look like a normal cosplayer and Kio is a bit embarrassed that people in the neighborhood will know about his 'special' interest." Said Kanda denying Eris's claim as an alien which cause Kio flustered.
"What is it with this cosplayer? I had heard you two talk about it before." Asked Eris curiously.
"Well, they just a living personification for the people with certain interests where they can feel that they are close with that personification." Explained Kanda. efore he continues, "Well, just relax here. You can have anything in the fridge as I will refill it by going to the supermarket right now."
"Okay! I'll do that!" Said Eris cheerfully.

Kanda and Kio went out of the house after saying goodbye to Eris. Kio can be seen carrying luggage where he put his things for the club's meeting. As they walking towards their destination, they also talked along the way.
"I wonder what I should tell Itokazu-sensei about Eris. Maybe I should tell her everything." Said Kio worriedly.
"Relax, she will take the news easily. You just let her interact with Eris more often and it will be okay." Said Kanda.
"That's right, I will do that though I'm still a bit worried as we left Eris at the house." Said Kio as he express concern for Eris.
"Don't worry too much. I think that she can take care of herself if something happened at the house. I can depend on her to hold the house compare to you, you know. With her advanced technology, I think that she can do something about the house later." Explained Kanda.
As Kanda and Kio continue their journey, a figure trying to close with them before it greets them.
"Hello Ichijou-kun, Kakuzu-kun." Said the voice while greet both of them.
As they heard the voice, they turned their back and surprised to see the figure that appeared behind them before they replied back to that figure's greeting. The figure is Futaba Aoi, she wears a light blue one-piece dress with white heels and accompanied by a cross necklace on her neck.
"Hello, Futaba-san." Replied Kio politely.
"Hello, Aoi-chan. You're so beautiful today! Oh, right. Kio, where the DVDs that Aoi-chan lent us before?" Said Kanda while giving compliment to Aoi before talks to Kio.
Kio pulls out the DVD in his bag before giving them to Kanda which Kanda gives the DVD to Aoi where she accepts them and puts them in her bag.
"Thanks for that, Aoi-chan." Kanda gives his thanks at Aoi.
"How were they...?" Asked Aoi about the DVD.
" Well...'Return from Space' had some pretty interesting scenes while 'Gaia Symphony' surprised me, though." Answered Kanda.
"I'm happy that you like it. Would you like to see the others?" Aoi shows her smile as she heard Kanda's comment on the DVD.
"Sure. Do you have any more films by the director of Rainbow Kids? Me and Kio like the works from this director." Said Kanda.
"Then, I'll bring Desperate Outpost next." Said Aoi as she nodded.
Kanda gives his thanks to Aoi which she just says, "Don't worry, Ichijou-kun. I like to share my hobby with others...Uhm, Ichijou-kun?"
"What is it, Aoi-chan?" Asked Kanda as he looks at Aoi.
"Do you have any free time today? I just got my allowance, so I was wondering if you wanted to rent some DVDs together." Said Aoi before let her face down.
"Well, I just need to go to the supermarket so I have some free time to spend as Kio also will be late as he has his club's activity today." Replied Kanda.
"That's great. So, can you accompany me today?" Said eagerly as she heard that Kanda got free time.
"Alright. I will go with Aoi-chan now, Kio. Give my regards to your other club members. Don't forget to come home earlier as I think that Eris will empty the fridge if you come back late." Kanda faces Kio as told about his plan.
"I know and it's also applied towards you, Ichijou-san as Eris-san loves to taste of your cooking." Said Kio before separates himself with Kanda and Aoi.
"Hahaha ok, how could I forget about her as I love to see her reaction when she trying the dish that I had made." Said Kanda as he waves at Kio.
"Ummm, Ichijou-kun. Who is this person called Eris-san?" Asked Aoi suddenly about Eris.
"Well, it is Kio's relative that likes to cosplay around. You can meet her later. Let's go now, Aoi-chan." Said Kanda as he lies about Eris's identity.
"Sure, Ichijou-kun." Aoi nodded as she listened to Kanda's words.
After Kanda and Aoi separate from Kio, they went to the DVD rental store first and looking around inside the store while talking about their own preferences about the DVDs. They spend almost three hours at the rental store before going to the coffee shop for a break. Next, they went to the supermarket as Kanda needs to buy some groceries for the people in the house later.
Aoi along the way feels that today is very special for her as she could become closer with the person she really like and hope this scene will last longer. However, fate has different plan for her in the future.
