Chapter 5: Chapter 5 Morning's Commotion (Rewrite)
Next morning in Kio's bedroom.
"Urrgghh, my head. Right, yesterday I drank Uncle Yuuichi's beer before passing out. Well, whatever. I'm on summer break anyway." Said Kio weakly before he wakes up from his bed groggily while holding his head.
"Is this my room? Maybe Ichijou-san carry me to my bed after I'm passed out yesterday." Said Kio as he looks around his room before goes down from his bed and goes to the bathroom.
After taking a bath, Kio starts to make a breakfast before a bell sound can be heard at his front door. He opened the door and see Manami that standing outside the door.
"Manami-chan, what are you doing here? Is it for breakfast again? Just come in already but please help me to wake up Ichijou-san as I need to continue preparing for the breakfast." Said Kio knowingly as he sighs as he looking at her appearance this morning.
"Although I'm itching to hit you right now as I assume that you're thinking I come to freeload here which is also true but, I generous enough to ignore that. I will go now to wake up that sleepy-head right now." Said Manami while gritting her teeth before enters the house and goes to Kanda's bedroom.
Kio went back to the kitchen as he saw Manami had gone upstairs but the next moment, a shout can be heard from upstairs which belonged to Manami which Kio quickly goes upstairs to see what had happened to her.
As Kio arrives there, he see surprised look on Manami's face before he follows her sight and see a girl with cat ears sleeping besides Kanda on his bed while hugging him.
"Ichijou-san!!!" Shouted Kio and Kio's exclamation woke Kanda up which he saw Kio and Manami stood at his door before he lazily talking towards them, "What is it, Kio? So loud in the morning. It's summer break, you know. Just let me sleep for awhile."
Seeing that Kanda wants to sleep again, Manami shouts, "Kanda, you sleaze!!! Why there is a girl on your bed?!"
Kanda looks confused with Manami's voice before he has sudden realisation and looks at his side where a girl that wearing a white shirt had slept on his bed which is Eris.
He started to process on what happened yesterday as he remembered that he had carried Kio back home after saying goodbye to Eris before at the feast.
As Kanda lost in his thought, Eris slowly starts to wake up from the commotion while stretching her body.
Then, she can see that everyone are looking at her when she raises her head before says, "Good morning, everyone."
"Good morning, Eris. Although I do like that you sleep with me, can you explain why you're here and sleep on my bed?" Asked Kanda as he returned her greeting.
Eris touches her face with her finger before saying, "After yesterday's feast, Uncle Yuuichi had sent me here and allows me to come to this house as I haven't a place to stay for a while. He said he let me rent a room in Kio-san's house as Kio-san have many empty rooms so he told me why not adding another person. Then, he let me rest at one of the room after he sent me here but all the room is locked except this room so here am I."
"Uncle Yuuichi! Why you do that without my consent." Said Kio exasperatedly before sighing and says, "Whatever... just quickly wash yourself up and we will eat breakfast together."
Sudden change of conversation had caused Manami to say, "Wait a minute, Kio-chi. Why you just taking easy about this? And who is she? Also what the hell with her massive chest?"
"Relax, Manami. Let's us clean ourselves first before she introduces herself again. Don't worry about her chest as you're not bad too." Replied Kanda at Manami's outburst while he comments on her chest before Manami throws a pillow that suddenly appears in her hand at his face.
"Die, Pervert!!!" Shouted Manami before she storms out of the room as Kanda laying down on the floor.
30 minutes later, Kanda and Eris are going downstairs and sitting on the dining table where Manami and Kio have waiting for them.
Kanda wears black shirt and black jeans while Eris was wearing her usual bodysuit. Manami can be seen sitting angrily while crosses her hand on the chest which emphasize more on her chest.
"What are you staring, Kanda?! Do you not have seen enough?!" Snarled Manami at Kanda.
"Hahaha, Manami. You're still angry about that. Relax, I'm just joking around with you." Said Kanda while laughing heartily which she just harrumphed on that.
They start to eat their breakfast and spent an hour before they finished their meal and clean up those dishes.
In the living room, four of them sat on the couch as they talk about Eris.
"So, who is she? And what with that ears and tail? Do you let her cosplay like that? Kio-chi, I already informed you that don't let anyone satisfying your otaku interest." Questioned Manami as she starts the conversation.
"Manami-chan, I don't make her wore that. That's her own cloth you know. And how do you know about my interest." Defended Kio.
"Hmph, I know! I even can say where you hide away your personal stash." Said Manami to Kio which caused Kio has that scared look on his face.
"Well, whatever. Eris, can you introduces yourself again to us though I already knew about you?" Said Kanda to Eris.
"Alright, I'm Eris and I'm an alien. We coming here to have fun and make an interaction with the people on this planet." Introduced Eris.
As she said her introduction, silent starts to enveloped in the living room before Manami opens her mouth, "Are you joking with me right now?"
"No, I'm not joking." Said Eris seriously.
"What about your ears and tail? Is it real?" Asked Manami as she still doubt Eris's identity.
"Of course. You can try to touch it." Replied Eris while waving her tail.
"Is it true that you're an alien?!" Suddenly a voice can be heard which the people in the living room turn head and see a familiar figure enters the living room.
"Itokazu-sensei! why are you here? And how do you enter the house?" Said Kio in surprised tone.
The figure that suddenly appeared was Itokazu Maki which is Kanda and Kio's homeroom teacher and club advisor for Kio's sci-fi movie club.
"Of course from the front door as I see that the door had not been locked, so I invite myself to enter the house." Said Itokazu as a matter of fact.
Listened to his teacher's answer, Kio looks at Manami and says, "Manami-chan! How many times do I need to remind you to lock the door when you've entered the house?!"
"Well, nevermind, I just arrived to inform Kio that our club will make a trip on this summer break. Forget about that, is it true that Eris-san here is an alien?" Said Itokazu about her visit before paying her attention again at Eris.
"Yes." Replied Eris short.
"Impossible!!! Where in the universe would an alien has something like cat ears and tail? You also wouldn't meet an alien who could speak our language or looks like something we would see in some space movie!" Retorted Itokazu as she heard Eris's answer.
"We were also surprised as well! When we first had found all of you, we thought it was some kind of joke as you looks like just us except without tail and ear." Said Eris innocently.
"Yo-You're trying to make fun of us. I won't accept this! Show me proof you're an alien! The proof!!!" Gritted Itokazu before demands a proof from Eris.
"Proof, huh? Good point." Said Eris while thinking on how to prove she is an alien.
As Eris thinking about her proof as an alien, her bell-like accessory on her neck starts to shine where she touches the bell and a cat-like hologram starts to appear in front the people in the living room.
"What's wrong, Rolus?" Asked Eris.
"There's an emergency-deshi! Our ship has been discovered-deshi." Said the cat hologram named Rolus.
"I thought we'd camouflaged it." Said Eris.
"Right-deshi, but it wasn't an active camouflage-deshi." Replied Rolus.
"Then, what's the situation?" Asked Eris.
"The ship is surrounded by some kind of fiber and being pulled towards the surface." Answered Rolus.
"Do you mean by that?" Said Manami suddenly while pointing at the TV.
On the TV, news about unknown ship had been reported. In the news, they assumed that the metal structure that they found maybe some sort of alien craft and related to the message that been sent around the world.
"Ah, it's my ship! This is bad...I guess we'll have to do something about that." Said Eris in surprised tone.
"I think so, too-deshi." Supported Rolus.
"In that case, reactive. Initiate program A-24 and then, program HE-11. If anything else happened, inform me immediately, Rolus." Eris ordered Rolus.
"Roger that-deshi." Replied Rolud as he saluted at Eris.
After Eris gave the commands towards that avatar called Rolus, its starts to disappear and her bell lost its shine.
"What was that?" Asked Kio after the cat hologram disappeared.
"Maybe an AI for her ship or something. Its look too futuristic or advanced compare to our technology." Said Kanda.
"That's right, Ichijou-san. That's my ship's navigation system." Replied Eris.
As Eris looks back on the television where others also follow her sight and see that Eris's ship starts to escape from the net and fly away from that place under the gaze of everyone.
"I-I'm going home. I don't feel so well." Said Itokazu as she massages her head.
"I think I'll also go home." Said Manami as she goes out the living room.
Manami and Itokazu starts return to their own house by walking and driving car respectively. Their face change after they received information about Eris as they think its need to be delivered as soon as possible to their own faction.

Back in the living room.
"Well, if you don't know how to react about this news, Kio. I recommend to eat lunch right away as I'm hungry right now. How about that, Kio?" Said Kanda breaking the silence as he stand up.
"Ichijou-san, I want to eat too." Said Eris while raising her hand.
"Hahaha, alright. One lunch for an Eris. What about you, Kio? If not, we will leave you here." Said Kanda as he asks Kio again.
"Fine...I also want eat too. I don't know why you still took easy about this news." Answered Kio with a sigh.
"Hahaha, relax yourself, Kio. If you remove the idea of Eris as an alien, you will see her as an attractive cosplayer that has voluptuous figure. She just like the model on your personal stash." Said Kanda while exposing Kio's secret.
"Ich-Ichijou-san! What are you talking about? Haaa" Shouted Kio before he says, "You're right. I forgot about that. Let's make lunch quickly then."
"Ano...What is a cosplayer?" Asked Eris with confused look.
"Don't worry about that, we will explain it to you later. You just need to eat your lunch today." Said Kanda.
"Don't explain that to her, Ichijou-san!" Refused Kio.
Eris just has that confused look as she listened to Kanda and Kio's banter.
After that, they eating the lunch which is Kanda's turn to prepare the lunch where Eris praises him for that food which he just casually accept her compliment.
