Chapter 66: 48_Annoying
A week passed by peacefully after that event, but it could have been even more peacefully if there wasn't the constant bickering between them.
"My eyes hurt when I look at you, can't you have any tact and not appear before me?"
"Why should I listen to you! Isn't it you who is following me!"
"No, I'm not! You're following me!"
"Yeah, right. I was here first!"
And their conversations were quite childish.
"Aren't you quite moody today? I thought that your mood was only once in a while, but with what I saw I believe its each day!"
A week ago, when Lin was 'accused of' scaring Erebus to death, Narcys came in the class with a dark face. Lin being Lin was ready to make his mood even worse than it already seemed, but he deemed her unworthy and ignored her.
Seeing him ignore her made Lin feel insulted. Instead of backing down she became even more aggressive.
She stood before Narcys and was ready to annoy the hell out of him. No one could stop her even Lucius couldn't.
Before Lin even could do anything, he spoke: "Don't talk to me, I already feel bad enough. You won't want my mood to be even worse."
Narcys spoke as if it was all for her, but she didn't appreciate it at all.
"You think I care! No, I don't!"
She couldn't do anything with everyone trying to keep her away from him.
"You shouldn't disturb him when he's like that. I know from experience.", Erebus said in hope of making her give up, but it had the opposite effect on her.
"That's even a better reason to annoy him."
In the end, the day passed without her being able to annoy the hell out of him. Instead, she unleashed her wrath on the people who had stopped her excluding Lucius. Lin didn't had it in her to even annoy him a bit.
Now a week later, she still hadn't forgot her resentment from that day. She would use the word 'bad mood' to annoy him each day. At first, Lin said it to make fun of him but when she saw his reaction to it, she couldn't help but use it each time she didn't know how to annoy him.
Not annoy him wasn't something in her dictionary.
"Can't you just let it go?", Narcys asked without any hope.
"Of course not! I'm not dumb.", Lin answered the matter of fact: "I mean it isn't like I'm talking nonsense."
What she was saying was true. Narcys actually isn't that moody each day. It's only once in a year or something when his mood is extremely bad, but Narcys had a feeling his mood will always be bad if he continued to be in the same class as her.
Aside from them bickering once in an hour, the school life was peaceful.
That was until their homeroom teacher, Iyan, announced something extremely annoying if you put it in Narcys his words.
"It's been almost two months since school started. I'm sure everyone knows each other more or less, but it is tradition to hang out with class for a whole day in the month of October. So, before your vacations begin let's go somewhere as a class. Does someone have a suggestion?"
Most people would like a day no school and instead a day out with friends, no let's scrap that everyone would like that excluding our moody boy, Narcys.
"I want to go to the amusement park!", someone shouted excitedly, but felt someone glaring at him.
"I want to go swimming!", someone else suggested.
"I want to watch a movie! There is a really good one out now!"
"…"
One by one they all suggested things that sounded like fun.
"What do you want to do?", Erebus asked Lucius.
"I'm not sure.", Lucius answered hesitantly: "But lasershooting seems fun."
"It's really fun even more if it's your first time."
"I want to lasershoot too!", Ryuu entered the conversation abruptly: "I'll kill you easily, Erebus!"
"Yeah, right."
"Don't you believe me?! I'll show you!", Ryuu abruptly stood up and shouted: "Teacher we are going to lasershoot!"
Everyone quieted down. It was suddenly decided what they were going to do. It wasn't like they minded it, but it would be appreciated if they discussed it together instead of someone choosing on their own. What else could they except of the one and only Ryuu Takashi.
"I'm happy you all came to a conclusion", Iyan started: "but I never intended to listen anyway."
???
Question marks were visible on their face. What were they then doing arguing which activity would be the best? They really thought that their teacher should have tormented them when they couldn't choose what to do.
"What are we then doing, teacher?", Arthur asked suspiciously.
"I'm going to organize a treasure hunt!", Iyan replied with a beaming smile.
"Treasure hunt?", a girl repeated dumbly.
"Yes, a treasure hunt specially organized by your favorite teacher.", he told them once again.
"The treasure hunt will take place in three days here in school. Everyone would be gone to their own activity, so it would be you guys alone!"
"His smile really irritates me.", Ryuu mumbled quietly.
It wasn't that they didn't look forward to it. A treasure hunt did seem fun, but what can you do but be suspicious of that smiling teacher. They had a feeling that he would somehow make something fun painful. How was what they needed to find out.
"Our class will be split in five groups, three groups of four and two of five."
"Are we' going to be a group?", Erebus asked to Ryuu, Lucius and Lin.
But before they could answer they were hit with his continuation: "I'll make the groups, so don't think about forming a group or something because it will be random!"
"I hate him…", someone whispered in the class.
"The first one to find the treasure will get a reward! What is still a secret, but I promise it's something fun."
[I'm not going.], was what Narcys thought but sadly for him he was forced to go.
"The students who didn't come to my treasure hunt for what reason there could be, will be punished with something really fun.", while he said that he was looking at the students who wouldn't show up if he didn't say anything, but his gaze stayed longer on Narcys than anyone else.
"I hope everyone would be present.", his smile really made them all shiver.
"It will be okay, I'm sure it will be fun.", Lucius said trying to sound optimistic.
"Yeah, I think it would be extremely fun!", Lin said confidently.
But on the day itself Lin seemed to forget the word fun itself.
"It will be fun, Lin. Cheer up!", Lucius tried to cheer up his friend who seemed ready to plan a murder.
"Yeah, it will be so fun.", a boy laughed annoyed but not for long.
Lucius's group: Lucius, Lin, Lilyann, Arthur and Narcys.
"How did it end like this?", Lin thought loudly.

A/N: Hello everybody! This chapter came from nowhere just like the rest lmao, that is why it will take some time for a new chapter because I need to think about how I'll organize the treasure hunt. But it's quite good because I'm really busy.
I'm going to Paris with the school next week, so I'll brainstorm then. Be patient people! Don't be angry at me if it will take some time because schoolwork and so on are keeping me busy.
