Qiao Lingxiang saw Cen Yi at a glance even though he was surrounded by many people. He was spinning the football with one finger and laughing along with Lu Zhengqing who was beside him.
He looked extremely proud that he could spin the ball for such a long time.
Hence, Qiao Lingxiang sat back in her seat and didn't move. She remembered her previous plan. She wanted to thank Cen Yi.
She watched Cen Yi and his friends queuing at the window selling food coupons. They took out their energy coupons to buy food coupons.

Her eyes were so black that they were glistening. They looked like two black gemstones shimmering brightly under the dim lights of the cafeteria.
Electricity was scarce so only a few lamps were lit in the entire cafeteria. Thus, there were patches of light and darkness in the cafeteria.
Coincidentally, Qiao Lingxiang was sitting in a dark part.
Cen Yi stopped in his tracks. At first, he wanted to sit with Lu Zhengqing and his other friends in the middle of the cafeteria which was bright. But after thinking for some time, he picked up his food tray and walked towards Qiao Lingxiang.
He put the tray down in front of Qiao Lingxiang and sat down opposite her.
He asked, "Have you finished eating?"
"Yes."
Qiao Lingxiang nodded. When she saw Cen Yi walking over, she thought this was a good chance so she stood up immediately.
Cen Yi didn't understand why she suddenly wanted to leave again. He was separating his chopsticks as he raised his head to look at her. He watched this fat young lady bowing to him deeply.
"Thank you! Although you ended up fighting Qiu Chen because you were the one who offended him, I still want to thank you."
Qiao Lingxiang bent down and spoke every single word seriously.
Cen Yi was embarrassed. He put down his chopsticks and stretched out his hand to scratch his spiky short hair.
He said awkwardly, "Is it that serious? I was just dealing with the consequences of my actions."
"You don't understand."
Qiao Lingxiang looked very serious when she spoke. Tears dripped down for no reason. They landed on her tattered sports shoes.
She continued, "For a very long time, no one spoke up or fought for justice for me. You went to beat him up because he beat me up. No matter what the reason was, you defended me. To me, this is something worthy of my gratitude. I should thank you, sir."
The surroundings were silent. Lu Zhengqing and his friends, who were sitting behind Cen Yi and planned to laugh at them, gradually stopped making noise.
For some reason, seeing as Qiao Lingxiang was treating this matter so seriously, they felt a little pained.
They were accustomed to fighting but this was the first time someone thanked them so seriously for fighting…
It felt as if they had done something amazing.
