Chapter 4: A frozen heart melts in the sun
Meanwhile, a fully nude, handsome, and masculine god was hovering in the sky on top of a quiet forest lake. He was surrounded by a variety of the most delicate and alluring women this world had to offer. Each and every one unique in their own ways and every single one of them would be hunted day and night if they ventured outside on their own.
Irresistible as this man might be at the moment, except for little Meng Mei who couldn't keep her eyes of him, no one else was looking in his direction. They were all looking at a girl in a tight sky blue dress. Her dress was cut pretty short and reached a little over her knees, revealing her smooth and well-trained legs.

It's really bad though that none of this mattered at the moment since an army of angry women were now looking in her direction.

Her anger was pure and genuine as she was breathing heavily, her chest moving up and down. Without waiting any longer she directly released the entirety of her cultivation base, blowing everything in her surrounding for miles away, including her nearby sisters!
This was the number one reason why this woman was feared throughout the world. She had all the power but little to no control. She lost her mind quite often, unable to control her own rage, she would go completely mad. Going outside on a rampage, wiping out entire landscapes!
This is the most feared woman on the entire planet we are talking about! She's back and was going completely berserk again! The surrounding still remaining sisters were scared witless and quickly spread out in safety, creating a much wider circle in the process.
The animals and beast were long gone already by the way, they knew this lady all too well. When they were young their parents always told them stories. And In those stories, bad kids who didn't listen would be punished by this monster, making her the main character in their nightmares!
Shit was about to hit the fan!
The air in the surroundings began to crack and random spatial distortions were showing up everywhere. Her Icy blue eyes were radiating with fury as she flew up high into the sky.
She raised her arms and released an insane amount of white qi through the air, forming a massive white lotus that blacked out the skies. The flower began to spin faster and faster and as the petals closed themselves, they formed a beautiful, sharp-looking enclosed lotus.
She screamed out her entire longs while putting everything she had in this single attack, throwing it all away, right in his fucking face!
"DIE!!!"
Time seemed to stop when this huge rotating lotus containing all of her anger and emotions seemed to tear through space itself, producing sonic booms in the process!
In the beginning, there was silence ... When it exploded, not a single sound was heard in a whole hundred-mile wide radius!
Then, there was light... A flash so bright it illuminated the entire sky! For several seconds long, wherever you looked, all you saw was a white and bright blinding light!
And after that...
There was a boom...
BOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
An ear tearing loud explosion followed by a shockwave that blew away the entire island, lake, and a 50 miles wide area of the surrounding forest. Rocks, dirt, grass, and pieces of wood were launched up miles into the sky!
Smirking all satisfied and now heavily exhausted, with her clothes completely drenched in sweat, the sect master was looking at the big cloud of dust that slowly settled down.
Seeing she finished releasing all her anger and emotions and was now without any energy remaining, the rest of the sisters hurried back as fast as they could. Not knowing if that man was dead or alive, although it was hard to imagine anyone was able to survive all that.
But with only a hundred meters of separation left, they suddenly stopped and came to an abrupt halt. Noticing their weird behavior, their sect master immediately knew something was wrong and turned around as fast as she could! With eyes wide and in total disbelieve, she saw that close behind her... stood a naked man.
Out of instinct, her right hand moved directly towards the hilt of her sword, but it was all for naught as she was already way too late. The man looked at her and stared her deep into her eyes when he gave her the most dazzling and bewitching smile.
I'm dead! was the last thing she was thinking before he made his move.
His left hand grabbed her right pols before she had the chance to draw her sword. While his other arm enclosed itself around her body, pulling her closer to himself, embracing her tightly.
She could feel his firm and hard body against her sticky sweated clothes, tightly pressed against herself. He gave off a warm, sweet, alluring, and masculine scent. It smelled... like heaven? She couldn't stop herself and took a deep breath as it poured in through her nose, calming her down... His lovely face was so close to hers, that when she stared deep into his eyes, she couldn't help but drown completely in that icy blue sea.
At this very moment, her mind went completely blank and stopped working. She went through so many emotions in such a short time, she didn't even know what she was supposed to think or feel anymore. She tried to imagine how anyone would respond to all of this but the answer she was looking for just didn't seem to come...
She really wanted to lie to herself, but she knew better... After everything she has been through in all of those years. All those bitter times of struggling and surviving in this hateful world. She was never, not even a single moment allowed to be weak. Always hiding her feelings and emotions beneath an ice-cold mask.
Deep down she has always been so afraid. Afraid for herself, for her sisters, for everything she has ever cared for. That was the world she lived in, a world where the strong prey upon the weak, the word of cultivation.
And right now, in this man's arms, for the very first time in her life, after all those thousands of years... she finally felt safe again. She didn't know why but with just one look she knew he would protect her. He would care for her and love her for who she truly was. Not for the ice-cold beauty everyone lusted after but for the fragile little girl who she deep inside, truly was...
And while she drifted in the sky, embraced in the safety of his arms, she stared him deep into his eyes, and she knew... She had fallen in love with him.
One moment she thought she was going to die and the next moment she felt completely safe. All that happened today was completely new for her. This was the first time she was so close to any other man, the first time she was touched by one. It was the first time... She fell in love.
A dam seemed to break as she began to cry out loud... All the emotions she suppressed for thousands of years were coming out right now, her tears flowed out in an endless stream as she melted her face deep into his chest, soaking it all wet.
He stroked her back gently and put his chin upon her head. And then he spoke to her, for the very first time...
"My poor, sweet little girl...All alone, have you suffered for so long. From now on, I will share your burdens, and shall face this world with you together."
