Chapter 466: A Taste of Betrayal

For the first time in ages, Wahid argued with his wife. Leila was adamant about letting the world know about her daughter's existence. 

Although the decision would bring about negative repercussions, she was ready to risk it all. Leila was a tricky woman and an even trickier mother. 

While she despised her youngest child, she loved her eldest more. The Queen was ready to lay the world to waste just to set her darling daughter free. 

In her moment of haze, she failed to realize that her decision was detrimental to all. Its result would likely be the cause of the destruction the Seer had warned her about. 

Blind to the importance of a rational decision, she was only driven by rage and envy. She loathed her daughter even more than before if possible. 

The miniature part of her that used to feel a sense of sympathy was long replaced with hatred. On the other hand, Wahid was different.
