Chapter 453: His family

True to his words, Malik was a strict teacher. He was like his father in this regard. Where training was concerned, all his feelings were pushed to the back of his mind.

At first, Malik had it rough. She neither had prior training nor had a clue about how tough it would be. However, the torture she was subjected to kept her on her toes.

There were times she was on the verge of giving up. She felt so tired and the task felt so heavy on his shoulders. 

On such days, she reminded herself of the last bit of her memories with them. The thousands slash with their swords, the forceful feeding of poison. 

She could never forget how desperate she had been to survive. More so the hatred and laughter in their eyes as they watched her writhing in pain.

While she was oblivious to her moods, Malik wasn't. Every day with her as his student opened his eyes to her character.
