Chapter 330: The Elites

The necklace sparkled under the light in the room. His head was lowered looking gloomy. The more he stared at it, the sadder he got.

The air was extremely cold due to his mood. Samira felt it from the other room. Sadly, things didn't go according to her original plans.

After getting back from the palace, Lahan had requested to be left alone for a while. She didn't know what else to do but respected his decision. 

That didn't stop her from getting worried. Since she couldn't go inside, she decided to camp outside their shared room. 

Worry laced her features as she patiently waited for him. She was truly anxious. Having felt his emotions throughout the day, she was almost overwhelmed by them.

Hence she waited and waited and waited until she fell asleep outside the door. Inside the room, Lahan was conflicted.
