However, I also saw myself as a lamp without its wick. I wasn't sure what I was missing. I mean, I had it all.

Never knowing the meaning of pain since I was shielded from it. You know the thing with lamps, they are extremely eye-catching.

They look pretty to look at. Even so, without the wick to give it a soul, it's soulless. Just a beautiful empty shell.
