Chapter 167: His Fault

Arif didn't know what to do. He just realized that all his enmity was for naught. On the contrary, the person he considered an enemy had every reason to want to kill him.

He felt so ashamed that he could hardly open his mouth to say a thing. Out of exasperation, he disappeared before Sut could say more.

The older twin stayed behind not bothering to follow. Talking about things has helped reduce the burden he felt in his soul. Ironically,  his urge to kill his brother has reduced to some degree.

He also left for his place. Arif sat on the edge of the bed he shared with lily. The girl was fast asleep.

He didn't say much as he watched her blissful expression.  His fingers traced her face with a certain tenderness in his touch.

If she didn't suggest talking to his brother, he would have never thought it. Now that he had, he felt both grateful and remorseful.
