Chapter 101: Unexpected Guests

Arsalan watched the girl sleep. He had moved her to his bed. The same bed he shared with her. He wasn't sure what he was supposed to do about his heart. The betrayal he had felt when she left was gone.

As though it never happened. His heart was beating like crazy just from looking at her. What was he supposed to do? Never in his life did he encounter such a situation. He couldn't deny that he loved her dearly. However, it was hard to forget her betrayal.

Since she had betrayed him once, what guarantee did he have that she wouldn't betray him again? He found himself caressing her face. She looked haggard and thin as though she hasn't been eating well.

There were black circles beneath her eyes which wasn't visible if one didn't take a good look. Why was it like this? He sighed. He walked out of the room wanting to get away from her for the time being.
