Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Hope
~Jason POV~
Took me a few days of time but I got what I needed a lot of gold bars to exchange for money, food, Yen, and twin pistols with some ammunition in my bag that will last me a few weeks' worths at most before I get dry of supplies.
I got all of them inside my backpack filled with gold bars and some food from the darknet I purchased using my family life insurance money.
Although I do feel ashamed for using my family's life insurance money for this, I don't have anyone here anymore other than some memories.
I think it's time for me to finally have my happiness or wish fulfillment even if I have to travel through the worst of what my travels have to offer.
*Breath*

Sighing out my breath of relief as I get ready and hold my weapons underneath my clothes and carry my backpack underneath as well.
Glancing over to the screen of the Traveler System I began to type down the request of my next move as I carefully worded out my response in the system.

Destination: Near the Pod that is ready for the Hope Cultivation ready with no supervision.

Just like that now I was inside a dimly lit green room with a pod near me as I view it as one of those pods from DBZ Android Arc with tubes being supplied into it and I go over the pod with mild amusement.
This right here was the beginning of everything going wrong in the series of the Danganronpa game and the anime.
Observing the pod, I only made sure to take a good look and think just in case the cameras caught my voice as I go over some kind of terminal beside the pod?
Looks like controls for something so as I was curious, I decided to tamper with it and to my utter luck, it was free to access!
Hmm…
I guess the people working in Hope's Peak Academy are really arrogant to leave this baby by itself with free access for anyone to use but then again it was somewhat expected really from the likes of them.
But then again, they would probably destroy this place once they have finished its initial use since these people will sweep this under the rug and they have the arrogance to prove it.
According to the sources of the fandom Izuru was known as the symbol of mankind's hope and he was given the title of Ultimate Hope such to protect such rare talent, the Academy completely concealed all evidence of Izuru's origins and identity.
According to Izuru's words, he had 'teachers' who taught him the Academy's ideology about talented people's superiority.
It appears that he was mostly kept hidden inside dark and small rooms with little to no activities, and he was to be occasionally used by some people who needed his talents to create hope.
However, Izuru was aware that he would merely be used, and his talents would be 'leeched off' for the sake of hope he finds predictable.
Have anyone in the Danganronpa know that teaching someone that they think they're better than someone is an idiot move like the Nazi because they all have the idea that they are all dumb and stupid that they let their arrogance get the better of them.
History has said enough about that and anime has also demonstrated it as well like Code Geass there is bound to be someone out to get you uncultured swine.
I guess an Izuru won't be born here in this world but observing the terminal at the sides of the Pod it looks like it was heavily prepared as I see the tubes are at the ready but once I use this, I will destroy it.
Ok time to become the next Captain Japanese like Captain America.
With that, I enter inside the pod as I began to activate all of the buttons on it as I calmly began to steel myself for what's to come here comes ultimate talent.
~Third POV~
As the process was already beginning for the Hope Cultivation Project was caught by a quick rush and unauthorized timing left the whole area on full alert as sirens were being heard throughout every direction even the whole academy was surprised by the sudden alarm!
With the sudden surprises of alarms popping off the students inside had to evacuate for the time being while the staff was clearly at a loss of what to do.
Hope's Peak Academy was established for the sake of cultivating personal talent in order to create a perfect genius, who would be deemed the hope of mankind.
For many years, the Academy researched the talents of the Ultimate.
This project was named the Hope Cultivation Plan, though it was also called the Izuru Kamukura Project after the academy's founder.
Recently, the researchers were finally able to reach the experimental stage of the project.
From there, they set their sights on the Reserve Course dropouts to use them as lab rats, as their plan to create talent artificially required test subjects that are wholly lacking in talent.
From that group of Reserve Course students, the one who was finally chosen was supposed to be Hajime, because he admired Hope's Peak Academy more than everybody else.
Hope's Peak Academy exploited Hajime's feelings of admiration toward hope and talent just to use him as a lab rat.
All of his senses, emotions, thoughts, and hobbies that could interfere with acquiring talent were excised.
All of his memories of the past were forcefully suppressed into the darkest recesses of his mind and by directly interfering with his brain, the academy transformed Hajime into a completely different person whose specialty is a talent itself.
He was meant to be the fruit of all the research, a genius among geniuses possessing various talents, and he was supposed to be named Izuru Kamukura after the founder.
Izuru was known as the symbol of mankind's hope and he was given the title of <Ultimate Hope>.
However, as this was the original events were not taken place Jason has taken the 'Hope' of the people in Hopes Peak Academy was doing for himself.
As the process was finally done the chamber open to reveal Jason's long black hair and a drastic change in his eyes to pure red crimson as he looks at himself from the glass reflection in the chamber.
Viewing himself from looking at his reflection he was able to become the <Ultimate Hope> and keep all of his memories and emotions intact as he judges himself, "Ugh… note to self the people who created Captain America for his Super Soldier Serum really didn't make that easy as it was shown in the movie. But I can tell that I still have my emotions although suppressed it seems, I guess with my memory still intact I was able to still retain them neatly."
Getting himself out of the pod Jason took a notice of his body being more powerful and more knowledgeable as he thought to himself impressed by the results, 'My personal base strength has increase definitely but everything about the knowledge of the human mind and talents with them is also in my head. This will be more useful for me in the long run of things great.'
Jason smirks at this not only has the pod has given him all the talents he has all the skills of humanity with him, engineering, scientist, chemistry, industry, espionage, detective, medicine, biology, robotics, programming, hacking, and more.
And all those talents that were originally an ultimate original skill were now enhanced to their superior form thanks to the <Ultimate Hope> is able to put them to better use.
Jason smiles at this as he merely walks away from the situation using his talent to tap into the skills of the <Ultimate Assassin> and <Ultimate Spy> he was able to completely avoid the area completely undetected even with people present.
Just before he left, however, he grabbed his backpack as he observes the pod with an amused expression on his face, "Oh right almost forgot about you. No need for another me around better to destroy this thing in its entire time to smash."
Before Jason has left the room, he grabbed the pod as he began to tear it off from the ground as he began to throw it at the floor causing the glass to crash and a small explosion of the pod blowing up the room filled with talents ensuring there will never be another <Ultimate Hope> with the destruction of the of the pod.
*CRASH*
*Boom*
The <Ultimate Spy> was a talent that was mention in the novel that Yuto Kamishiro can completely hide his presence to even the normal people not even registering that there was a person in front of them was there till he made their presence known.
The <Ultimate Assassin> was a fabricated talent from Maki Harukawa from Danganronpa V3 even though it was fake Alex managed to obtain it for himself as he made steps so silent it was impossible to be heard and hid in the shadows as if he belonged there while masking his presence in the process.
After all, any talent that was from the Danganronpa world was now his to use even Junko <Ultimate Analyst> talent as his own while being able to tell where he is and how many people are in the area.
But as Jason is the <Ultimate Hope> these skills were greatly enhanced to be the superior version of these ultimate talents so much so that the members of the security didn't even register that the person they were looking for was simply walking away from the scene.
Of course, Jason began to take his leave of the area as he observes numerous members of people simply walking past him as he thought to himself, 'Wow! These guys aren't even registering me when I walk past them. I know that most people don't recognize this skill but the <Ultimate Hope> is too OP in a normal world setting.'
Jason then began to leave the area of Hope's Peak secret building as he maneuvers along the way out of the situation he caused in a hurry.
Meanwhile, the people in charge of the Hope Cultivation Project were immediately disturbed as the experimental test was already underway without anyone noticing.
The alarm also notified the principal Jin Kirigiri was alarmed by this as his advisor next to him Kazuo Tengan as they both knew something went wrong.
With the sudden alarms happening out of nowhere Jin began to prioritize the situation as he began to ask his adviser what to do, "Kazuo please hurry to the site those where the alarms from the underground labs! Quickly I'll handle with the students."
Tengan nodded his head as he began to hurry to his destination as he replied to Jin, "Alright I'll see what gone wrong. Those Steering Committee are not going to like this at least I get to laugh at their mistakes. Ha."
As the people in Hope's Peak Academy were busy trying to get everything to normal and under their control the Steering Committee was clearly enraged something very important for tomorrow.
The dream of having their very own puppet named Hajime Hinata the perfect test subject ready for their experiment and money they all had to create the perfect human being ready to be molded in their shape.
Sadly, a traveler had other plans as he was casually walking away from all the commotions as he just gets away from everyone as they were clearly ignoring him.
While looking around the area Jason was curious as he goes over to a nearby room curious to what the basement had to offer as he enters inside, he found himself in a room with clothes wearing black suits and shoes in the area.
Jason seeing this takes the notice of the clothes as he glances over it as he touched the suit as he grins at this, "Ok it looks the clothes are from the agents outside. I'll keep a few they look nice on me."
With that, he took a few into his bag as he began to leave the room with literally no one to notice this as they were too occupied with searching the basement to find the culprit of the alarms.
Jason as he walks around the area notices people going towards the area as he began to leave them as he gets out from the crowd as he breaths in the fresh air of the school.
Glancing around he began to leave the basement entrance as he knew that he can't stay for much longer unless he wants to be caught.
With that, he saw many students being moved away towards an assembly as Jason quickly gets away but sees that the entrance is being guarded.
Jason seeing this could only sigh at this situation as he looks like he's going to need some brute force to get out of here.
Searching through his bag he begins to don a mask he kept when he bought it to keep his identity a secret for the time being if he was going to be in trouble.
Wearing the mask, he hurriedly goes over the school gates as he easily caught the guard's attention as Jason made a quick motion to one of the guard's necks easily defeating him but the other one was a different story.
Jason getting into another fighting stance readies to fight another Ultimate as he began to crack his knuckles at the traveler, "Well this is certainly interesting here an unknown assailant in Hope's Peak Academy and right after a big alarm notifying the school. Tell me mister unknown how would you like to be forced into an interrogation or calmly be beaten by me?"
Jason saw that the person he very least dislikes in the Danganronpa anime is Juzo Sakakura the <Ultimate Boxer> also the guy Jason very much hates.
Juzo treats people without talent something like second-class citizens as he mocked Hajime and disregards listening to him as he was a pain.
Tightening his fist Juzo gets ready to move in when –
*SWOOSH*
*BAM*
When suddenly the former boxer was sent flying crashing the gates of the school as the punch from Jason was enough to send him flying with minimal force added to his punch as a single tap to someone was enough to send them across the room, so he minimized the damage but was still effective.
Juzo was then coughing out blood from his mouth as he stood there shocked but more so when he heard the distorted voice from Jason, "Listen asshole the next time you mock talentless people again treating them like dirt I will fucking ruin your life you pathetic excuse of a boxer. If I even hear you doing this again, I will spread info about your gay relationship about your Munakata."
With that Jason then gets away from the scene at inhuman speeds that caught Jozu off guard but what filled him was fear of an unknown person who knows who he is and who's working with.
That alone was enough to scare him and question who the person was as he coughed out blood.
