Chapter 51: World 2.28: Bring me back

Wei Shin dashed outside, after hearing that the Prince wasn't in his room from the maids. He dashed until he reached the middle of nowhere. The pattering sound of the rain was getting heavier, he could feel himself getting cold. He trudged towards the garden, everything was soaked under the water pouring down.

"Where is he?" he thought "I need to find him,"

He dashed towards the empty space, in the middle where the fountain was. The sturdy surface of it was still shiny and well sculpted, but it was different. The statue of the Prince curved in there was a teenage boy's age. It must be changing according to the Prince's years.

Under his feet, he saw something soft and familiar. There are petals of blue roses from him going behind the statue. The lighting struck once more, it gave enough spark to reflect a shadow behind the curved rock. There was someone, and if Wei Shin wasn't mistaken, it was the Prince.

A small sob slowly made Wei Shin more intrigued, he traced the petals of the blue roses and there he found a boy leaning at the other side of the sculpture. He had a bunch of blue roses in his palms, bleeding from the thorns.

But before Wei Shin could approach him, the male threw one of those flowers, "Go away!" he yelled

Wei Shin was stunned at first, but after picking up the withered flower he had decided to approach the Prince once more, "Prince Yuzuo, the rain was so heavy..you'll get sick" he said

"I said go away! All of you hated me! It was all lies!"

There was something that stabbed Wei Shin's chest, he felt pity for the Prince. He needed to pursue him to leave this nightmare and go back with him so he gathered all his courage. "Yuzuo?"

The rain started to turn gentle, the big drops of rain slowly turned to thin ones. Making the surroundings a little bit light. Wei Shin grabbed the chance to squat down next to the Prince. He remained silent, observing the male from the sides of his eyes.

Zi Yuzuo was a little bit younger this time, his golden hair was shoulder length and because he was soaked in the rain, it was covering half of his face. His crimson red eyes were swollen from crying and he had this sullen expression written on his face.

"Don't look at me!" Zi Yuzuo quickly turned his face on the other side the moment he felt the stares at him, "That's an order," he added, pursing his lips out.

Wei Shin finds it cute so he leaned his head on his knees while looking at Zi Yuzuo, "Why did you cry?" he asked

Zi Yuzuo jolted then he frowned "None of your business" he said

Wei Shin managed to lean his shoulders closer to Zi Yuzuo, "You miss them, right?" he asked but didn't wait for an answer because he knew that the Prince wouldn't answer it when it was about his parents.

Zi Yuzuo clenched his fist and bit his lower lip in silence, another sting of pain throb inside his chest. He didn't know but this mysterious male beside him was making his feelings complicated. There was a ball of agony that quickly jolted up toward his throat,making him a bit suffocated.

Wei Shin brushed Prince's Yuzuo's nape and let his head lean on his shoulders, "It's okay, you can cry if you want" he uttered.

For the very first time, Prince Yuzuo was petrified. He was speechless the moment he felt the warmth from Wei Shin, he was more surprised when the male's hand traveled down to his spine,caressing his back.

For the very first time, he felt something was different. He felt like there was someone who really cared for him. And before he could even realize, group of cold tears was already falling from his eyes, making him push out all the sadness he was holding back.

Wei Shin took a deep breath, as he gave the Prince more pats behind, "Don't drown yourself alone in the sadness, because you aren't the only one fighting." he comforted

Zi Yuzuo's arms moved on it's own, embracing Wei Shin's body. He buried his head on the male's chest and started to release the stiffness inside his chest as he burst into agony. "Why does everyone hated me?!" he released under the heavy tension "I-I just w-want m-my p-parent's back...Am I that b-bad?" his voice cracked

Wei Shin was stunned at first but he was a little bit shocked, but after feeling the male's loneliness, he didn't stop himself to comfort him. "Yuzuo," he whispered, "You just want to be loved, you are not bad…" he tightened his embrace, "Don't let this memory pull you into the darkness," he gently said

After hearing that,Zi Yuzuo's head automatically lifted up which led him to face Wei Shin. He paused like the time between them stopped. In the middle of the rain, he saw another face, another lonely eyes who was sympathizing with him.

Wei Shin cupped Prince Yuzuo's chin then he made a peck on his nose. "Come back,they're waiting for you, everyone was caring about you, you are not alone, Yuzuo..You just need to open up your heart to everyone.'' Then he gently opened his palm and let the necklace reveal a blue light.

Zi Yuzuo grasped the male's shoulders "Wei Shin?!!" he exclaimed.

Wei Shin smiled, "That's right, master...I am here to save you.." he slowly put the necklace around Zi Yuzuo's neck. It glowed slowly into thin particles enveloping the Prince's body.

Zi Yuzuo gasps "Wei Shin! How about you!?" He tried to grab the male's wrist but his hands were almost starting to vanish. "Wei Shin!! Come back with me too!!!" he screamed with regret in his eyes.

"Wei Shin!!!!"

The full moon was slowly disappearing and the moonlight became dim once more. Under the gazebo, a blue light glowed and surrounded the sleeping body of the Royal Prince. He started to blink and opened his eyes.

The first thing he saw was eyes full of longing, he recognized the first one, it's Qi Feng. "Your majesty! Welcome back!" he exclaimed

He tried to lift up his body, "Wei Shin.." the first thing he said was "Where is he?" he asked.

The atmosphere turned silent in an instant, the excitement on their faces quickly turned to sadness. Zi Yuzuo clenched his chest, that's when he realized that he was wearing the necklace.

The royal physician stepped forward "Your highness, he had decided to sacrifice his soul to bring you back" he said with a heavy tone.

As the royal Prince, Zi Yuzuo knew this method. "W-Why did he save me if he would leave me like this?!" he blurted out.

"Y-Your highness" Qi Feng tried to pat his shoulders "Wei Shin did this on his own will, he wanted you to be happy" he uttered, lowering his head.

The atmosphere around them tightened while their hearts started to feel the pain, everyone wanted to save both of them but only Wei Shin could do it. Zi Yuzuo realized that his pasts aren't that important anymore, because he had the happiest time of his future.

That's the time when he met Wei Shin.
