The hunter and huntress on top of the wall of Vale are nervous. The reason? They know the reason why Ozpin decided to buy a massive turret for Beacon Academy. They already see the massive number of Grimm coming from the surveillance drone to their city.
They did not know that all of this was orchestrated by a single woman, Cinder Fall.
She sees all the Grimm she gathers with a grin on her face. This is the reason why she joined Salem, to have this much power in her hands.
She did not notice that her followers got uncomfortable with the sight of Grimm, especially the Grimm standing not too far away from them.
It was a massive Grimm. Standing at nearly 60 feet tall, this Grimm is a 57-foot tall horned abomination. I have a body shape that looks like a human, but its entire body is filled with obsidian spikes coming from its body instead of pure white armour like any other Grimm.
Its head is covered in armour, only leaving its eyes and mouth. Its eyes are filled with malice as it glows red. Its mouth is dripping red liquid that burns the ground from each drop.
This is the Titan Class Grimm called Behemoth.
Behemoth is a well known Titan because of how active it was. In the past year, the people of Remnant saw it destroying a mountain around the Sanus Continent. Because of this reason, it got the title of Behemoth the Destroyer.
Cinder smiles sinisterly at the thought of Behemoth destroying Beacon. She regrets that she can only control Behemoth after using all the power given to her by Salem, as even Salem has a hard time controlling a Titan Class Grimm.
Cinder needs to use the power of Fall Maiden to control Behemoth fully.
However, by controlling Behemoth, she can gather more Grimm around the continent. With a grin on her face, Cinder says.
"Move out!"
With a terrifying roar, Behemoth orders the other Grimm to move from their hiding place.
The roar is loud enough for the people far away from their location to hear it. One of these people is Ozpin.
"Here they come."
The other people prepare their weapons and wait for the incoming horde of Grimm. Ozpin decides he will be in Vale defending the city and leave the rest of his staff in Beacon. His presence here will boost morale as it creates an image that Beacon academy will protect them even when most of the staff stay in the academy.
After waiting for a few more minutes, they can feel the earth start to shake.
"Here they come! Prepare to fire!"
The commander of Vale's Army orders the cannon to prepare. When he sees the first wave of Grimm coming, he gives his order.
"Fire!"
A volley of cannon bullets rains down the incoming Grimm. Each bullet creates an explosion and kills a bunch of Grimm at once.
"Turret! The flying one!"
Another hail of bullets flew through the air and hit the flying Grimm coming at them. However, unlike the cannon, it did not do as much damage. Many of the Nevermores are still alive and ready to release their attack.
"Barrier! In front!"
Every person who has a semblance that can be used as a shield moves forward and activates their semblance. A barrier made of energy, elements and even something unknown appears to block the hail of sharp feathers.
Angelo points a staff at the air that releases a giant dome made of energy. After a few seconds, the attack stopped, and the hunters started to do their job, killing Grimm.
One by one, a hunter is sent to the air by the other hunter, or they use their weapon to propel them to the air.
"Take this! Nora Smash!"
Among the people who get thrown into the air are Nora and Pyrrha. With a Grin on her face, Nora smashes the Nevermore with her hammer, and when her hammer contacts the Grimm, it explodes.
This is Nora's special creation she called 'Nora's Pink Surprise'. She modified her hammer to have a small container containing Nora's Explosive powder she created inside Angelo's submarine, Eli.
This explosive powder is a combination of Wind, Lightning and Fire dust with a precise weight. It can create an explosion that will grind and tear you apart. Because of this reason, Angelo forbids her to use this powder against humans, but he allows her to use it against Grimm.
On the other hand, Pyrrha uses her weapon to stab the massive Nevermore and uses her weight to slice Nevermore's neck.
After killing their target, Ren and Jaune prevent them from falling down to the ground. Ren ties a cable around Jaune's waist before nodding his head. Jaune pumps a little bit of his aura around his legs and jumps toward his teammate.
After catching them both, Ren pulls them to his location and sees Jaune land next to him.
After landing on the wall, Nora shouts in excitement, saying that she wants to do it again and this time using Nora's Rocket. While Pyrrha blushes a little at Jaune's touch, her mind is already thinking about something that she should not have if she wants to maintain her image. Not many people know this, but Pyrrha Nikos is a pervert.
"Alright! Ren! Nora! Take care of the Grimm on the left!"
"Very well."
"Roger!"
Both Ren and Nora quickly take action to kill any Grimm that gets too close to the wall.
"Pyrrha! With me."
Team JNPR works together like a well-oiled machine, and their hard work boosts the morale of the people defending Vale. While Team JNPR and the other hunter are killing as many Grimm as they can, Angelo looks at Elizabeth, looking at the hologram around her.
"Elizabeth, how much longer?"
"It will arrive here in a minute."
What Angelo searches for is the presence of the Titan-class Grimm.
"So, that thing is coming this way?"
"Yes, father."
"Good. That means Beacon is safe, and we can tell General Ironwood to send the rest of his troops here."
With Behemoth coming to Vale, they can focus on defending Vale and release a relief breath as Beacon is not really in danger as only a few hunters and Atlas' soldiers are there.
Just after Angelo finished calling General Ironwood for reinforcement, he and the other could hear a loud roar coming from the forest. However, unlike the last one, the defender of Vale knew this roar. It was a famous sound that nobody wanted to hear.
"BEHEMOTH!"
One of the hunters shouted, and when the other heard the confirmation, their faces started to get pale. The real battle for Vale started now.
