Momo gazed at the vibrant beauty of Japan at night, enjoying the mesmerizing sight before she leaned on Izuku's shoulder and remarked, "This place is amazing, it has such a relaxing vibe. It's oddly therapeutic."
"True, I remember the first time I came here too. I had just learned that I could fly using my quirk, and all the worries of the world seemed to disappear," Izuku replied.
Momo turned to Izuku and admitted, "I'm hungry."
"Me too. Wait here for a second," Izuku said before quickly disappearing. Panicking as he left her alone, Momo was about to call out for him when he reappeared. "Wow! Here you go, I made sure to get the best street food I could find. I know as a pretty rich girl, this might not satisfy your taste buds, but today, you have to settle for peasant food!"
Sitting back down, Momo felt the pressure from Izuku's speed but looked a bit confused before pouting and responding, "Moo! Don't say that, I'm not some spoiled brat! I have eaten street food before."
Smiling, Izuku said, "Oh? Then this won't be a problem. Here you go!"
Izuku and Momo sat down together to enjoy their dinner. It wasn't the best meal ever, but the unique location made it much more fun. They chatted about various topics, with Momo opening up about her family and how overprotective they were of her. She also mentioned that Izuku and Jiro were her first real friends since she struggled to make friends in middle school.
Similarly, Izuku was asked about how many servants he had and how strong each of them was. He responded with half-truths and dodged some questions entirely.
After a while, Momo fell silent, visibly fidgeting. It was clear she wanted to ask something but was incredibly nervous.
"*sigh* Momo, do ask me what you have in mind. You know I will always tell you the truth," Izuku reassured her.
Startled, Momo blushed and stammered, "Hey, Izu... Izuku, do you... L-Like me? I mean, you brought me here, so you must at least like me a bit. I would understand if you only brought me here as a friend, especially with how close you are to Mina. I know that friends can like—"
Before Momo could continue her rambling, Izuku gently placed his finger on her lips and said, "You talk too much." Then, he leaned in and gave her a peck on the lips, causing an explosion of emotions in her mind, leaving her blushing intensely.
"Listen, I'm selfish and arrogant, but I am honest. I like you a lot, so much so that I'm willing to do a lot to have you in my life. But unfortunately, fate is unfair, and I also like Mina a lot. It's really unfair, I know, but I like you both the same. So, if you want, maybe you can both be my girlfriends. I know it's selfish and unfair, especially since I would never want to see any other guy close to you," Izuku confessed, dropping a bombshell on Momo.
Shocked, Momo was left speechless for a moment. "I... I don't know what to say."
"Maybe this wasn't the right time," Izuku admitted, berating himself internally.
"Listen, Momo, how about you take your time to think about this. I know it was stupid of me to say that. I'm sorry. Let's head back home," he suggested, trying to ease the situation.

Accompanying Momo on the way back home, Izuku sat down on a building, berating himself, "That was foolish... confessing my love for another girl during our first date! I'm such an idiot! Let's just make things worse."
Lost in his thoughts, Izuku impulsively flew towards an apartment building and knocked on a window. Someone approached the window and opened it, revealing Mina. She saw Izuku descend and approached him, kissing him while remarking, "This isn't the usual time for your visits!"
In the weeks leading up to the USJ Incident, Izuku had been going on random dates with Mina. They grew closer and sometimes shared kisses, but they hadn't taken their relationship to the next level yet.
Breaking the news, Izuku said, "Hey Mina, I... I took Momo on a date today, and I..."
Mina stood there, responding with a simple "Oh."
"I asked her to be my girlfriend, and I..."
In utter sadness, Mina nodded and said, "So I suppose you're here to break up with me..."
Confused, Izuku hurriedly blurted out the same thing he had told Momo about wanting to be with both of them.
Mina's face lit up with happiness, and she jumped on Izuku, hugging him tightly, and exclaimed, "Thank goodness! I thought I was going to lose you to her."
Shocked, Izuku placed his hand on her back and asked, "Are you... Are you not upset with me?"
Smiling, Mina replied, "No, silly! I don't care as long as I get to be with you. I love you, Izuku!"
Izuku opened his eyes in surprise, but soon a warm smile appeared on his face as he hugged Mina back and said, "I love you too, Mina."

Meanwhile, in her room, Momo sat down, deep in thought, reflecting on the events of the day.
(Ugh, what is this? I can't believe it. Why did he even say that? Of course, I'm not okay with it! Why would I want him to be with someone else? Am I not okay with it? I mean, I like him, so I shouldn't care if he is with someone else! Yeah, besides, Dad mentioned that some rich families in Tokyo practice polygamy to have more children! So, this is fine, right?)
