Chapter 17: Chapter seventeen
Everyone was shock to see pillows under the sheets.
" my lord, I don't know what happened " Lizzy said as both she and Jake were already on their knees, with their eyes staring at Devon's feets.
" we just need to find her. I will forgive you for you didn't know what had happened, and you weren't aware. But when you are told to protect someone, do it well. Your eyes and ears should be on that person. When she sleeps, you will be outside the room, with your ears on the door " Devon said as he cooled down. He took a deep breath, the talked again...
" all we should be doing now, is looking for my wife " he said then teleport.
Everyone searched around for her, they even went to Celina's house, but had lie that they wanted to know how they were, and that it was an order from their lord. But when they had asked of Celina, they knew she wasn't there.
They had used the whole day to search for her, and Devon just kept getting upset in every hour that passes. No one was allowed to sleep until she is found.
That night while they were searching for her, two guard decided to rest at the back of the house.
" the lady isn't gonna come back " one said.
" why say so? " the other asked.
" everyone wants her blood, they want to kill her and take her blood. Even me, if I had the chance to kill her, and take her blood, I do it" the first one replied.
" but she had been in the house, why didn't you kill her? " the other one asked.
" Lizzy and Jake are always around her, I'm even surprised on how they lost her. The lady's dead, she's never coming back " the first one said as he stood up...
" I'm going to rest" he added. the second one hold his hand and said....
" I never had any bad intentions on the lady, she as been kind to everyone, and that's why I will continue looking for her" he said then teleport. The first one hissed, then turned back, he started shaking in fear at who he saw.
" how dare you " Devon said angrily.
" m...mm... my.. " he just kept stammering as fear trapped him.
" you shall die here" Devon yelled. All of a sudden, air just kept entering the guard's body. It entered so much that the body became round like a balloon. Then it burst, blood everywhere.
Devon just went inside the house, he ordered two of his cleaner to clean the mess outside. His little part of his skin, legs that were not even complete, and other stuff. Devon went to the bathroom to wash the blood off him, and there he remembered what the guard had said...

Devon stood quietly in the bathroom, as tears flowed out of his eyes ,when he realized that even some of his workers aren't trust worthy. Devon was surprised to see himself cry, as this was the first time it had happened to him. He touched the the tears the stared at it. He smirked.
The next day, Devon was still out looking for Celina. Rufus rushed to him...
" my lord, I'll help you look " Rufus said. Devon only stared at him, then turned back to continue.
After a while, Devon decided to go to Xander's house after many consideration. But as they were on their way, Jake rushed to them...
" the lady is back " he said as he was breathing hard.
" what? " Rufus said surprised. He then turned to Devon, who was no longer there.
Devon reached the house, he saw Celina talking with Lizzy and smiling. When she noticed someone's presence, she turned. And in the blink of an eye, she was warped in Devon's arms.
" I missed you, Celina" he said in relief. Celina enjoyed his embrace, but as she remembered what they had told her, she pushed him.
" what's wrong? " Devon asked confused, as he stared at Celina's angry looks.
" Celina" he called.
' don't talk to me " she said then walked away. Devon would have followed her, but he knew she wanted to be alone, do he just went to his room.
Later that afternoon, Celina was in the parlor with Jake and Lizzy, who was still worried about her.
" I didn't want to ask, but where were you? " Jake asked.
" yeah, we looked for you in so many places, lord Devon didn't even let anyone sleep. But Jake and I weren't really gonna sleep, because finding you was also our priority " Lizzy said in a low voice.
" I was with someone, and that person will come soon, and you'll know what happened " Celina said.
" my lady, why are you upset with lord Devon?, you were in love with him " Jake asked worried.
" yes I was, and I still am in love with him. But I don't want to talk with him. After all I just found out, I'm keeping my distance " Celina said angrily.
" Celina " Devon called. But Celina didn't turn to look at him.
" hey son" Lucifer appeared. all the servants in the living room bowed.
" what are you doing here? " Devon asked.
" is that the first thing to say to your father, and the one who saved your wife? " Lucifer said then smiled. Devon was shocked to hear that. But why is Celina upset with him?
