Inside Lin Tian' consciousness.
Lin Tian soul are currently fighting for supremacy against the soul of the Mind Devouring flower, Currently they're in balance and couldn't defeat each other but Lin Tian knows this is bad because the reason he could fight evenly right now is because he has the buff from the Gourd.
Should the buff time ended he will be in grave danger as his spiritual power will drop considerably, now all he can do is try to defeat the flower's soul as soon as possible. But the difficulty is too high, the Mind Devouring flower are a spiritual type beast which is able to control it's spiritual power much better than Lin Tian even though it's spiritual power is lower compared to Lin Tian who has the buff.
Of course Lin Tian didn't wait to death and try to copy how the flower use it's spiritual power, as this goes on finally almost one hour passed and it's almost time for the buff time to end. Lin Tian managed to copy a little of how to use the spiritual power but even so he is still too inexperienced when compared to a spiritual beast who keep using it's spiritual power for over 700 years.
The spiritual buff finally run out and the flower realizing Lin Tian becoming weaker start to attack him all out, in just a few moment Lin Tian can only defend and keep getting pushed back nearing to the center of his consciousness.
'Is this how it going to end' Lin Tian shook his head bitterly.
'Even if I'm going to die , I won't give up till the end' thinking of this he start preparing himself for a last stand.
Just as he is going for a last do or death attack suddenly something come out from the center of his mind, it was a Gourd but it has a lot of pattern on it's body which is much different compared to his Martial Spirit. The pattern has black and deep red color intertwining with each other on it's surface wriggling as if it is alive.
Suddenly the Gourd open it's cover and something came out of it, what came out of it is not a Spiritual liquid like Lin Tian's Martial Spirit but a clump of energy similar to a cloud with dark and red color the same color as the Gourd's pattern. This clump of energy cloud suddenly shot towards Lin Tian and merging into his Spiritual body's chest.
'I Can Do it!' not knowing why even though there's no feeling of becoming stronger after receiving that clump of energy, Lin Tian know instinctively that he can win after receiving it.
Without further ado he once again start to fight against the flower soul, the difference happen when Lin Tian use his Spiritual power to attack. His Spiritual power now contain a trace of black and dark red color the same as the clump of energy that enter his body, as this spiritual energy touch the Mind Devouring flower suddenly the flower start to shaking greatly as if feeling a great pain.
What he didn't notice is as his new spiritual power hit the flower soul a little part of the Flower's soul got merged to his spiritual energy and increasing his capabilities of controlling his spiritual power, But Lin Tian didn't have the time to notice or think about it. He just start to attack relentlessly until with his new Spiritual power until finally the flower's soul died completely and what's left upon it's death is a bright yellow spirit ring. Seeing this spirit ring Lin Tian didn't stop and directly start absorbing it.

In the real world Lin Tian are currently bleeding from the skin all over his body, Master and Tang San are currently keeping vigilant around him. Master actually wanted to stop the absorbing process when Lin Tian start bleeding at first, but stop himself because he could see that Lin Tian is still able to holding on.
And when one hour passed and Lin Tian start bleeding from his eyes and nose while frowning in pain, Master finally tried to stop him for real but before he could awaken Lin Tian suddenly Lin Tian's face becoming relaxed as if the pain he is feeling suddenly gone, Seeing this master sighed in relief and wait for him complete to absorb the spirit ring.
After another 30 minute Lin Tian finally finish absorbing the spirit ring and it finally hovered behind him. Opening his eyes Lin Tian can see Master's worried face with also relief.
Smilling Lin Tian Said "teacher I have succe—"
But before he could finish his word Lin Tian finally fall unconscious, his mind is too tired from the spiritual fight for almost two hour.
"Brother Tian!" Tang San hurriedly catch Lin Tian before he falls.
"Teacher is brother Tian alright?" Tang San asked.
Master start checking Lin Tian and finally said "He's alright probably just too tired from absorbing spirit ring beyond the normal limit, we better go now before any Spirit beast come here because of the blood."
Finally with Master taking Lin Tian on his back the three of them leave the Hunting forest.

Feeling the little shake finally Lin Tian wake up, the first thing he saw is the wooden roof while feeling his body swaying a bit.
"Xiao Tian, You're finally awake." Suddenly a sound came from his side.
Looking at the source of the sound Lin Tian See Master with Tang San sitting beside him.
"Teacher, Tang San."
"Brother Tian are you feeling okay?" Tang San asked worriedly.
"I'm okay Xiao San just a bit tired after the absorbing process." Lin Tian shook his head.
Master nodded and didn't think it is weird because absorbing a higher spirit ring will definitely take it's toll on the absorber body. Of Course if he knows his disciples almost become an idiot because of his information mistake he might not be so calm at all, but Lin Tian decided to not tell Master about this since it has passed and there no use to dwell too much on this problem.
Of course Lin Tian decided to later change the information of this spirit beast on it's book because if there happen anyone need the same spirit beast it might cause a disaster.
"where are we currently?" Lin Tian Asked.
"We are in the carriage on the way to Notting city now, since you passed out I decide to directly bring you and left the Hunting forest since both of you already get your spirit ring and staying there longer will be dangerous." Master explained.
Lin Tian nodded Master decision is right and there's no need to waste time staying in the forest waiting for him to wake up.
"Xiao Tian for now you can try to feel your Spirit Level and use your spirit skills." Master said with a little excitement.
Lin Tian's feat can be said to be unique in the Douluo Continent, the only recorded reason a person can absorbed beyond the age limit is because of having a twin Martial spirit. While Lin Tian was able to absorb beyond the age limit by himself and his second ring if there's no problem will probably be a thousand years Spirit ring.
And this Lin Tian is exactly his own disciple of course Master become a bit excited and wanted to know what is the spirit skills he get.
Lin Tian sit cross legged and meditate for a bit after a while he answered, "Teacher my current Spirit power is level 14."
Hearing this Master was shocked because it is a bit too high, he though Lin Tian will probably reach around level 13. With his current level Lin Tian can be said to be ahead of Tang San by almost half a year, because for a talented children usually need around 2 - 4 month for increasing 1 level.
But Lin Tian know the main reasons he could reach level 14 is because of the accumulation from meditating for the last 3 month with help of the gourd, without this accumulation his spirit power will probably only reach level 13.
