Chapter 283: One Silly Leo

Father and I returned home at around 7pm. Since it was way past the time for me to start cooking, the both of us decided to order some takeout instead. To our surprise, just as I was about to pick up the phone and order pizza, someone rang the doorbell. Feeling a little suspicious as to who might come at such a time, I headed over to the front door and found Leo standing innocently on the porch as I stared through the peephole. Of course, just as always, I let him in just for him to instantly jump and bear hug me the instnat he saw my face.

"What are you doing?" I asked in an irritated tone.

"You're back!" Leo shouted in a gleeful manner, rubbing his face all over my chest. Seeing how happy he was, my face could not help but soften. I ruffled his hair and asked in a low tone, "Have you eaten dinner yet?"
