Chapter 211: Kane's Nightmare

[Flashback to previous night, Kane's POV]

Kane was in a daze the whole way back to the hotel that he had reserved for one night at the town. The chauffeur that was always with him had parked a few blocks away from the school to prevent Hunter or any others of tracking him, in case anyone wanted to follow him back to his abode.

He returned to his own presidential suite located at the top floor of the hotel. However, he was in no mood to appreciate the extravagance of the suite. Instead, he immediately went to the bathroom to take a shower.

As the cold water sprinkled down onto his well-developed body, he couldn't help but remember Hunter's surprised face that was filled with guilt. He looked down towards his open palms below him. He still could not believe that, in a heat of passion, he had choked Hunter. An action that he thought he was incapable of. Subconsciously, both of his plams curled into fists in anger.
