Father returned back to the infirmary after some time. There was still a complicated look in his eyes. When I saw him walking in and staring at me in that manner, I suddenly felt quite nervous on the inside, thinking if I had done anything wrong. It was then that Father gave me a slight smile, suppressing his feelings and said in a soft tone, "Dr. Greene said that you are mostly fine now. After a few physiotherapy sessions with the doctors here to get your leg muscles working again, we can leave this place."
I simply nodded without saying anything. However, on the inside, I was quite reluctant to leave since I knew that if we were to return home, Father would need to go to work again and be gone for quite a long time. As I thought of this, I inwardly felt quite dissapointed.
Father since to have noticed that I seemed quite sad and asked, "What's wrong?"
Noticing my father's concern, I simply reassured him by shaking my head and stating firmly, "Nothing, Father."
