Chapter 23: 23

Jacob peeped inside Soomin's room, and saw her studying on her desk. He had spent his entire night thinking and memorizing what he would say to her and even skipped college as he couldn’t keep her in dark for long or bear the fear of her thoughts for long. Although he would still have to keep her in dark but it ate him up and he decided to get over it as soon as possible.

He still wasn’t sure how she will take everything he tells her, even though not one with a brainy IQ, Soomin was really good in figuring out things around her. He was afraid that she will be angry and unwilling to hear him out. His sweaty palms touched the doorframe and he opened the door slowly.

Gathering all the courage he could, he entered the room and cleared his throat making Soomin have knowledge of his presence.

"Jacob? You're here? I thought you transformed." Soomin said with weirdness in her voice.

"It wasn- wait what?" Jacob was confused with her behavior.
