JAUNE ARC POV
"Pyrrha! That was amazing!" Ruby said out loud as soon as they left the class.
"Yes. It was definitely… something." Weiss said, seemingly for a lack of word as she still looked a little shocked at Pyrrha's display of strength.
That was understandable.
After being Shroud Bound by him. Pyrrha went from Tier 5 to Tier 6. And while it might not sound much at first, a Tier 6 could easily defeat half a dozen Tier 5.
The only people in this world who belonged to Tier 6 were Raven Branwen, Cinder Fall (after gaining the full Maiden powers), Ozpin, Glynda Goodwitch, Qrow Branwen, General Ironwood, Tyrian Callows, Hazel Rainart and a few others.
As for a Tier 5. Every talented Hunter-in-training or a Hunter would be counted as one.
So yes, there was indeed a huge gap between a Tier 5 and Tier 6.
A gap that Pyrrha crossed by simply being Shroud bound by him, which gave a huge boost to her Physique as well as her aura reserves and Semblance.
Being Shroud bound by him also gave her the Everlasting, Body, Martial and Soul Talents which in turn would serve to make her even more powerful in time.
As she was now, Pyrrha could easily defeat Cinder even with her full maiden powers.
With a lot of training and experience along with the power of the maiden, Pyrrha stands a good chance of reaching Tier 7 in the future.
She would still be no match for Salem who was a Tier 8 and on a league of her own but with a team of Tier 7, they would probably be able to stop her.
That didn't mean that she should start showing off to people.
"You shouldn't show off too much Pyrrha. You might alienate your classmates and potential friends." he said
Showing off so blatantly might warn the enemies about her true strength as well.
He didn't want a repeat of Pyrrha vs Penny this time.
Pyrrha ducked her head in embarrassment and he sighed.
He had a feeling that she was not trying to show off to the class but to him which he might consider flattering if not for the fact that doing such a thing will bring the attention of Ozpin.
Which technically wasn't a bad thing as Ozpin originally planned on giving the power of the Fall Maiden to her.
But some of that attention might also be diverted his way which wasn't something that he wanted.
"Hey! If she wants to show off then it's perfectly within her right to do so." Weiss said.
"No Weiss." Pyrrha interjected "Jaune is right. I might alienate my classmates if I show off to much. I could've handled the fight better."
"It's alright Pyrrha. I'm still your friend." Ruby said cheerfully before she grew nervous "I mean… if you consider me your friend that is."
"Of course I consider you a friend Ruby." Pyrrha said with her gentle smile as she put a hand on Ruby's shoulder for support and comfort.
"Yay!" Ruby cheered while Weiss facepalmed and muttered something like 'Dolt'.
"Well, how about we continue this topic in the Cafeteria."
"Sure." "Yay!" "You guys go ahead. I'll catch up with you in a bit." Weiss said as she turned around and left.
He held back a frown as he knew that she's probably going to Professor Port to complain about not being made the leader herself.
"Huh! Where are you going Weiss?" Ruby asked.
"Let her be Ruby. We shouldn't stick our noses in other people's business. Not unless they need our help."
"But… but…"
"Not buts." He said with a smile as he turned her around and pushed her toward the Cafeteria while Pyrrha held back a giggle and walked beside him, her hands fidgeting with the urge to hold his hands but not wanting to give away their status as lovers to other students.
