Fight.
"Okay, Yuji here I come!"
"Yeah!"
Currently a spar between Yuji Itadori and Michael Marshal is underway.
Michael had made great progress in his training of jujutsu control. He has managed to bring Abyss into a state like passive state at small periods of time after Mieul's timely catch of when the ability stopped for the first time.
Other than trying to bring a flow, the two quickly tried to simulate the phenomenon by making who ever is controlling the body into an agitated state.
At the start, the two copied the method of watching movies from the series and this is without the doll that needs continuous cursed energy supplied to it.
After succeeding in observing the phenomenon of stopping the ability, what they realized was that in order to halt the absorption, the user must actively think of using the Abyss. By thinking of using the ability, it will go into a ready state as they named it. By extending the time of this ready state, a similar situation of passive state is achieved.
The limit for the Abyss' ready state is currently five minutes of ready state in which Michael is able to normally conduct physical contact with other people without absorbing their energies.
*Pah* *pah* *pah*
Three consecutive blows from Michael is parried by Itadori.
A counter left hook meets Michael's blocking right arm.
The grass flattens as a foot skids over it pushed by the force of the punch.
'Damm his raw power is no joke and I bet he held back in that punch.'
"Again-"
This time Itadori dashes in, surprising Michael with his sheer speed, a blow hits his stomach and his feet slightly lifts off the air.
Air escapes out of his mouth and pain reaches his brain.
Fushiguro as a spectator is speculating the fight as it goes on, 'I thought Gojo-sensei said that Michael has a monstrous martial talent, even if Itadori has superior physical ability he shouldn't be getting pushed back so much.
Blows continue to sound in the training field and Michael is clearly in a disadvantage.
'Michael.... you're making us lose face here, what is this lame show?'
'Mieul since you're so confident do you wanna try?'
'I'd love to.'
Suddenly, instead of a blocking, Michael's body redirects the right jab away and follows with a right kick himself.
"Puahh."
This time a clean hit lands on the stomach area of Itadori and a surprised expression shows itself on Fushiguro's face.
Mieul then continues his assault showing practiced movements to the spectator who has been baffled by the spectacle.
'Uhh, you've done this before haven't you?'
'Don't talk to me while I'm busy.'
Michael, instead of rebutting, looks into Mieul's memories without his permission and looks for anything related to combat.
Inside he does not find the years and years of practice that he is expecting from seeing Mieul fight but instead only a short time of mixed martial arts, arms swinging haphazardly and a person who seemed to be an instructor yelling at him.
Back to the fight, an elbow cleanly hits Itadori's jaw and ends the spar between the two.
'Oops, I think I went too hard on him.'
*Bamm*
Itadori's body falls on the floor fainted, Fushiguro, who was watching is still standing and staring into Michael who is now checking up Itadori's unconscious body.
'So you wanna tell me about it?'
'Later, we still have more time right?'
'I think so, about three minutes or so.'
'Great.'
"Yo, Fushiguro wanna spar too?" says Mieul as he puts on a smug face trying to taunt Fushiguro into sparring with him.
Although Fushiguro knows that he is doing it on purpose, backing down from a challenge isn't his style and so a fight between the two started while Itadori is still laying on the ground.
A minute after, another body falls on the ground, the smile on Mieul's face gets wider as it has been a while since he's fought.
"Damm, Michael you fight like you did this for a living before you got here, let's go again!" comments Itadori as he stand up.
"Uhh, not really, just for a bit."
"Just for a bit, my ass" remarks Fushiguro feeling sullen since he himself has practiced martial arts in the school compared to Itadori who is fighting solely based on his instincts but in the end, the both of them ended with the same result.
"Anyway, that was a good warmup, now lets try it when both of you come."
"We're not gonna hold back you know, don't go complaining that there was two of us when you lose."
"Right, right, just come."
'I won't lose though.'
Thus, the fight started again and this time two people are fighting against one. Fushiguro enhances his body to match Itadori's natural strength, aiming to teach the cocky Mieul and erase the smile off of his face.
Fushiguro comes from the front and Itadori dashes to Mieul's back. A sweeping kick from Fushiguro forces Mieul off the ground and Itadori tackles the airborne body into the ground. However, before the both of them hit the ground, a chop from Mieul hits Itadori's left collar bone. Strength leaves one of Itadori's arms and Mieul wrestles the one armed man on the ground. Fushiguro seeing Itadori losing, quickly tries to help out.
The fight ensues, Itadori continues to try and ground Mieul while Fushiguro moves around into his blind spots.
While the two's plan is not bad, neither of them were trained in wrestling and grappling unlike Mieul. In the end, the two while equipped with super human physical abilities, managed to put many bruises and cuts into Mieul's body. Nevertheless, they ended up tangled on the ground as the timer for the ready state runs out.
"You definitely did this for a living" said Itadori, believing his earlier idea.
'Yeah Mieul, tell me the full story, I was nice enough not to look at your memories,' says Michael from the inside, lying about his little snooping while the fight was in progress.
