Chapter 53: I Do Not Care

Gideon narrowed his eyes the moment he heard what Freya said.

Her words made complete sense and he was unable to argue with her.

Gideon looked a little annoyed. He said threateningly, "Freya, stop acting as though you know better."

Freya hurriedly nodded. She said in agreement, "Uh huh. Got it. I won't do it again."

Freya pondered to herself. Did she get it wrong?

Gideon eventually did let her get into his car.

Freya naturally did not misunderstand this as kindness. She felt he was probably afraid she would call her father-in-law and tell him about this.

She sat in the front passenger seat of the Rolls Royce Ghost, looking out the window.

The weather was good and the sun was shining on the buildings and greenery, making it look very nice and warm.

Freya was in an inexplicably good mood, so she hummed unknowingly.

Gideon glanced at her expressionlessly and felt a little annoyed.
