Chapter 1317: Palace Complex at the Center of the Ancient City
Seeing the golem that landed right in front of her, Mui froze on the spot together with the demon beasts not too far away from where she was standing. Everyone present was taken aback by the golem that had landed in front of Mui. Especially considering that the golem that had landed in front of Mui showed no sign of moving and upon closer inspection had clearly broken apart on impact with the ground.
Roar…
Feeling a bit uneasy with the appearance of the golem, one of the demon beasts that had frozen as it was about to leave, let out a low roar to remind everyone that this was no time for them to dawdle around wasting their time.

And so, along with the reminder from the demon beast, Mui and the rest of the demon beasts who had momentarily frozen on the spot following the appearance of one of the golems, all came back to their senses before they all began moving deeper into the ancient city ruins.
