Chapter 40: - This is Jones

Sometimes I wonder, if I have a conscience. I'm not a psychopath, so there's no need to go there. But I do have an addiction, that makes me do wicked things. I'm addicted to money, and I honestly don't care where I'll get them from, as long as they're green, and comes in stacks.

Working as an FBI agent doesn't pay you as good as you would've thought. It's the government that pays you, and the government in America is cheap, unless you work in the military. I've thought about joining the army, but I don't want to put this pretty face to waste, by getting it blown off by a soldier in war.

So I chose to be a 'good guy' instead, at least on the outside. And hey – I'm not the only one, who's a crook with a badge. There's more than you'd ever imagine, and if you knew, you'd never call us again.
