Chapter 97: Remaining Days

Two weeks later.

At the Johnson Family Farm.

Helen, Alfie, and Jake just finished eating breakfast.

"Helen, do you want to go horseback riding with me?" Jake asked her.

"Yeah, sure!" she replied enthusiastically. "When?"

"After lunch," Jake said.

"Okay, I'll get ready by then," Helen replied.

Jake and Alfie climbed the stairs going back to the second floor.

Helen went outside to gather some flowers for the flower vase in her room. Some flowers in Madam Kristy's garden are free for her to pick up anytime.

She went to the garden and cut some of the Marigold and Zinnia flowers that were growing abundantly in the inner parts of the garden.

Ten minutes later.

She's done picking up flowers and went back inside the house to put them in the flower vase.

Meanwhile...

Inside Jake's room.

The two men were talking to each other.

"Looks like you and Helen are getting along well," Alfie commented. "I can hear wedding bells soon!" he said excitedly.
