" We can't be that lucky," he says with disbelief.

I continue to sneak glances at Esteban. 

I hope he doesn't notice. 

" Where are you? " he asks hurriedly. 

" Manhattan, Gallagher's hospitality. " I reply. 

The sound of a car door closing comes through the phone.
