Linda's POV

How does he know about my dad? Shouldn't it be only the Alonsos' who know about my dad? What is going on? Before I can follow him and ask the questions going through my mind, my friends come back to me and I notice Summer is no longer with them. 

" What did he say? " Leah asks. " And why do you look so worried? "

" He refused to help. " I tell them simply. 

" That doesn't explain the worry on your face. " Esperanza says, looking concerned. 

Could I have heard wrong? No, he clearly mentioned my dad's name. There's so much more going on than I understand. What if when this ends my dad, my friends and I are still not going to be safe at Silverado.
