Chapter 38: The War of Two Words 3
"what is that light?" Looking at the light in the sky calling for him, the soul was confused but also felt it welcoming him. it hesitated, but he quickly felt the light calling his soul towards it. He wanted to resist at first, but he didn't as the light felt... too good.

He swallowed in light, and he felt as if he was coming back to life after years worth of slumber. His eyes tremble, and he sees the world once again after defeat. He sat up, only to see Sakura standing over him with tears in her eyes... but he ignored her while looking at the man standing behind her.
He wanted to move, but he quickly found he was dangerously low on chakra. he could only look at me, not knowing how he was alive as the last thing he remembered was that his body was cut in half, from the head down.
"You're awake, Sasuke Uchiha. I started by bringing you back to life by yourself for one reason." I said with a smile while looking down, leaving Sasuke stunned as he knew the cost of bringing someone back to life. even the rinnegan could normally do that at the cost of one's life unless one has enough lifeforce like an Uzumaki or they were an Uchiha and Senju
"I will make you an offer. I will bring back the Uchiha clan, everyone from your brother, to your parents, down to every elder and child that died that day. In return, your loyalty as you're now the clan head." I said making Sasuke frown as he didn't know what to say for some time.
"If I don't," Sasuke asked coldly.
"Why do ants keep putting up pointless resistance? you have yet to enrage me. the day you do... well, let's just hope that day never comes." I said while turning towards Kakashi's headless body, casting a time reversal on the body, time moved back and stopped at the moment before his head was cut off. It took a second, but Kakashi's eyes opened and he sat up in confusion.
"Now that you are awake, I have something to speak with you," I said while looking at Kakashi who was touching his neck with a confused look. His eyes look towards me, a flash of fear appearing in his eyes.
"Let's stop the pointless resistances. You're smart enough to know that, keep your shinobi in check. enough nonsense keeps happening, I will destroy the planet out of pure annoyance." I said shaking Kakashi slightly,
"What is your goal for all of this?" Kakashi asked in a soft voice,
"My goal? a world needs someone at the top. you humans have been fighting and slaughtering each other for over 1,000 years. but you know when out of those years the world was peaceful? When a powerhouse standing at levels no one else could reach stood among you. It was Kaguya, but she went about things in dumb ways. now it's me. I don't plan to force you to do things against your will. I have no interest in ruling through fear or making my people suffer." I said while looking deep into Kakashi's eyes.
"Your people are allowed to speak up against my actions if you don't like them. I will not turn a blind ear to my people's suffering... but put up fights and other such pointless and useless things. That would piss me off as I have been slow and gentle with everyone... understand?" I asked to which he nodded lightly.
"Now, you should understand why I partly don't want to bring Naruto. he would annoy me. but I will give Naruto 3 chances, after... well, let's hope you all work together to keep him in check." I said while holy light covered my palm, before I shot it towards Naruto, hitting him, and putting his body back together, while at the same time bringing him back to life.
"you 4 are the only one I plan to meet, I have no interest in meeting everyone. this is Kaguya, she was the ruler 1,000 years ago and would be so today. Next to her is Narberal Gamma, the maid who would be helping her with overlooking this planet, while also reporting back to me." I said while looking behind me towards Kaguya, and Narberal.
"Well, let's go on and bring everyone back to life," I said while floating into the sky, where I went on to cast a Super Tier spell. before everyone's eyes, magic circles covered me in a dorm, the magic circles were beautiful, drawing their eyes toward it.
Kids, I never had to explain it before because I never needed to use it, but above 10th-tier magic was Super Tier magic. While magic only goes up to the 10th tier, Super-Tier Magic is said to go beyond that limit. Super-tier magic acts more like a special ability rather than an actual spell. Magic casters can unleash it without consuming any of their MP.
The number of super-tier spells a player could learn is one for each level after level 70. When it is first learned, it can only be used one time a day. However, it can be used increasingly once more for every additional ten levels gained. Thus, the average player who has managed to finally reach level 100 in YGGDRASIL can use Super-Tier Magic at least four times a day and will have about thirty super-tier spells in their arsenal. Each super-tier spell also needed a certain amount of casting time before it could be put into effect... Remember Average
For that reason, Super-Tier Magic cannot be activated consecutively every time. First, it has an activation period and a certain amount of damage done to the magic caster will interrupt the casting. Various means of interruption include teleportation ambushes, bombardment from atop a magic carpet, or extremely long-range sniping.
Second, it is possible to use cash items to remove that casting time, but with a penalty that prevents the repeated casting of super-tier spells. Magic casters who were preparing a super-tier spell could also suffer from their defenses being lowered. The basics of casting super-tier spells included protecting the caster with several friends.
Once any member of a team cast a super-tier spell, every member would be penalized by being unable to cast such spells for a certain period of time — in other words, a cooldown period. This restriction was put in place to prevent guild wars in YGGDRASIL from being decided by who could vomit out the most super-tier spells.
There is no class exclusive to Super Tier Magic as some have the potential to use that power with a given charge or price to it. However, there exists Super-Tier Magics that can likely be obtained and learned from completing events.
I had a total of 90 Super Tier spells under me, and I could cast them a max of 30 times a day. As for my casting time? Although not as fast as Herohero, it was shortened to just a few seconds, no more than 4 seconds. although in combat, this was still extremely fast.
While we were at it, there were also other boosts and enhancements to spells. A special form of magic that was used to add different effects to regular spells, increasing the power or advantage of their Magic Caster.
A magic caster can apply multiple metamagic enhancements to a single spell and the changes are cumulative. However, one cannot apply the same form of metamagic twice for a single spell but could stack other forms to it though only once too.
To list a few...
Boost Magic: It can elevate the tier and power of the spell.
Delay Magic: When activated, the magic delays the moment of activation of a spell.
Extend Magic: It allows the user to extend the period of time that the spell could remain active.
Maximize Magic: It increases a spell's attack power to its maximum damage potential. In other words, this meant eliminating the RNG to ensure the spell was able to deal the most damage possible. (RNG means Random Number Generator)
Penetrate Magic: It increases the chance to penetrate magic defenses or resistances.
Silent Magic: It allows the user to activate a spell without the need to recite it, eliminating the danger of a third party or person disrupting the activation.
Twin Magic: Unlike the original spell which can only create one object, this magic allows the user to create the same object twice from that spell without casting it again.
Triplet Magic: Unlike the original spell which can only create one object, this magic allows the user to create three of the same object from that spell without casting it again
Widen Magic: It increases the range or area of effect over what the spell would normally possess.
Of course, others could only add up to 2 enhancements onto a single spell. meanwhile, I could add up to 4, while Herohero could do up to 5.
4 seconds went by fast, and once it did, I exploded into a golden light. that Golden light took the form of the Gates Of Heaven. From the heavens, dozens of thousands of golden lights shot off, shooting out into the world. Every soul that died in the past day was brought back to life by these golden lights and even a new body if they didn't have a body. It went far, as the many clans that died out came back to life. the Uchiha clan, Senju, and many others came back to life.
everyone who I meantly thought of as an ally, they were brought back to life. even Madara who was overwritten to become the new Kaguya was taken out of Kaguya's body, while Kaguya's body stabilized on its own with the help of my spell.
Sasuke, Kakashi, and Naruto who were in a weakened state were restored to 100%. everyone was restored to their peak, thanks to the Super rare, Super Tier Spell Heaven's Gate. In the game, it allows one to bring back to life all of their fallen allies at 100%. Drawback? It was a super Rare spell, and it had a huge drawback. that it couldn't be cast in the same battle it was used in... I of course managed to remove such flaws.
"Everyone is brought back. Senju, Uchiha, and Uzumaki are brought back to life. as well as everyone who fell in the war. Be wise, as next time those that fall will not be coming back to life, as death would never come." I said coldly while looking down upon those below,
I didn't waste time and disappeared. everyone else were left stunned by the sight, they didn't believe my words. But they quickly turned their eyes towards Narberal, who was letting out an aura that sent chills down their spines.
"Lower lifeforms, the supreme ones took mercy upon you all. Why are you not kneeling?" She asked her killing intent which turned and twisted the very air around them. Be it Madara, or Naruto, they all shook as they tried their best to withstand this aura, but they fell to their knees, sweat covering all of their foreheads.
With that, Narberal sneered while stepping back to stand behind Kaguya who felt a chill at her power. Moon level? no, Narberal power was touching upon the star-buster tier...
And so time passed. Everyone was shocked seeing as they came back to life, but Kaguya went on to take over everything. they would have resisted, without Sakura and the others explaining to everyone what happened. although they found it hard to believe, the fact that someone like Madara was fearfully behaving was enough for them not to act recklessly.
Kaguya ordered for a city to be belt in the center of the world, this was something I had asked her to build. the city quickly began to be built, Sakura went on to act as a spy she was told to be
The Senju, Uzumaki, and Uchiha clans who were slaughtered not long ago were the descendants of Kaguya, so she had them all take root under the new city she built. Kaguya didn't forget about the moon, as when she was sealed away, one of her twins moved to the moon to stay by her side.
Like how Hagoromo's children inherited part of their father's powers, Kaguya's twins did the same. Kaguya had birth twin sons. Hagoromo and Hamura, Kaguya had two special eyes, the byakugan and rinne sharingan.
Hamura awakened the byakugan, while Hagoromo awakened the sharingan. the sharingan would one day evolve to become the Rinne-Sharingan, but that was nearly impossible without a chakra fruit or becoming the 10-tailed host.
Hamura split his clan into 2 parts, the Hyuga clan that went on to live on earth, and the other half to live on the moon. Kaguya wasn't sure at first but went to ask the guild Ainz Ooal Gown to bring her children back to life. it would be far easier to control these clans and the whole world with them, luckily for her it was done without much trouble... so time passed.
Within the deep night, a figure moved through the shadows, heading towards a building hidden in the night.
"Kaguya isn't all that powerful, she is capable, but she has no proper training and can't fight." Within a building, a shirtless man said while looking at everyone in the room.
"Once we defeat her, I will absorb her into my body. with her power on top of mine. this so-called Guild, Ainz Ooal Gown would fall to our might." A, The former Raikage of the land of the cloud said while looking at everyone. Ever since the world was taken over, the shinobi system was destroyed, and a new Adventurer system was built.
the standards for strength also increased, as Jonin was now a tier of power that was for those at the continental level, meaning they could no longer stay on the planet without alerting anyone. For former Kages falling from grace and being treated like any normal person, and even suffering great punishment for resisting, A held a deep hatred towards Kaguya.
"But the maid near Kaguya was said to be stronger than her," A loyal follower who fully supported A plan asked with a deep frown.
"we will make a move when her attention is elsewhere. She is the perfect maid, but Kaguya likes to be alone from time to time, so she would send her away around 9 pm. We will make a move at that time. the sage of six paths and his brother is not going to be there, they are busy looking after the land she gave them." A said calmly.
in the past, the world was split into 5 parts, but today, it is split into 3 parts. the biggest part of the land which Kaguya ruled over. the land was mainly focused on the improvement of chakra. The Sage of Six Paths Land was mainly focused on training Sages, while Hamura Land was mainly focused on improving technology.
A suffered greatly under the effects, imagine going from one of the most powerful people, respected worldwide, just to be treated equally as Genin, the lowest ranking ninja? If that was everything, then he could hold his rage. but the Village hidden in the cloud was filled with many hot-headed people, so many were unwilling to just step backward, they needed time to adapt to the sudden changes. Kaguya wasn't in that mode and slaughtered many of his people until the rest knew their place.
He was burning in rage, but he held it. He was so angry that day that he went calm, something which saved his life as he would have died. following that, he went around taking in everyone who was displeased with the new leader and wanted to overthrow her... and there were many.
the door to the house was suddenly opened, causing all of them to jump to their feet while on guard. they watched as from the door, someone wearing a kabuki samurai oni mask entered while looking around. everyone was on guard as they didn't know who this person was, they were ready to attack, but they wanted to get some information
But A didn't say anything, how could he when he saw the eyes this person had? two pairs of Rinne-Sharingan, he wanted to look away, but he couldn't control his body. he realized that from the second he looked at this being... he had lost. he was trapped within a genjutsu.
Slowly the person with the mask moved, removing the mask to show himself. A's eyes widened seeing who it was. it was a person this world knew well, the famous shinobi who was well known for the slaughter of his whole clan.
"Itachi..." A said in fear seeing the emotionless look in Itachi's eyes.
"Peace was brought to this world... why are you going out of your way to destroy it?" Itachi asked with a sigh.
"The gods have come upon our world and ended all of our mortal problems. yet we mortals still go out of our way to destroy it... that pisses me off." Itachi said his Rinne-Sharingan spinning. at the same time, the illusion got to work, as A found himself on a cross.
"w-what is this! I should be immune to all illusions." A yelled, to go against someone like Kaguya, he had made sure to train himself to not be affected by any illusion. yet forget being immune, he couldn't even tell if this was an illusion.
"Even without Lord Igneel's gift, my old power would have been enough to trap you in one. Lord Igneel saw my potential, my heart, and my pain. He gave me a chance to clean the sins as a sword at his side." Itachi said softly,
"I'm Captain of Lord Igneel's royal knights, Itachi Uchiha, and I have come to punish you for your sins. For the sins of scheming against the gods, Death is too good for you." Itachi said while a sword appeared in his hands.
"Welcome to Tartarus, a world of eternal suffering," Itachi said showing off the new ability the god had gifted him. An illusion that punishes sinners...
Back in reality, Itachi had never opened the door. the door opening was all part of the illusion, they were in his genjutsu long ago. Itachi disappeared, returning to the guild where he reported this to Momonga
"Great job Itachi, no wonder Igneel favors you. Your abilities plus, Igneels research led you to awaken an ability not limited to this world, but instead perfectly embodies you. the strongest power of the Uchiha clan is because the MS ability they awaken embodies their trauma." Momonga said while sitting upon his throne of death on the 13 floor, looking at Itachi who was kneeling before the throne.
There was a theory Igneel had. The theory went as this. What determines your mangekyou abilities? Your ability is determined by how you are as a person and what circumstances led to you getting the mangekyou sharingan.
Obito was a person who wanted to escape reality and flee into a dream world, reality was too painful for him to handle. So Kamui was his ability, allowing him to escape reality. Kakashi Kamui's eyes were awakened at the same time Obito awakened his, and Kakashi was watching as another person he cared for was taken from him. Kakashi suffered from watching everything disappear from his eyes. That trauma birthed Kamui, giving him the power to have things he looks at leave this reality...
Itachi abilities used to be Tsukuyomi, a powerful genjutsu that could trap a person in an illusion in which Itachi was god, having full control of that world. In this genjutsu, anyone unlucky enough would be tortured for days that would feel like years. seconds would feel like days. a truly living hell to anyone trapped within it.
Itachi was a man living in a living hell. Forced to slaughter his clan for the sake of the village and his little brother, forced to become a villain for the sake of the world. his whole reality was nothing but pain, a living hell, a world in which he never truly had control of his own life. there Tsukuyomi was born. a powerful genjutsu that takes away one control and gives it all to Itachi, yet most of the time Itachi uses this to torture someone, but he did use it once to live a life within Tsukuyomi.
With his other eye, Itachi had Amaterasu. black immortal flames which would burn away anything it hits, it will not stop burning until nothing remains, so dangerous that even water and other flames are burned by it. This ability was born from Itachi's will, the Hidden Leaf village had something known as the Will Of Fire.
It is an ideal rooted in Asura Ōtsutsuki's belief that love is the key to peace. It would eventually become the life philosophy that Hashirama founded and the Senju clan lived by, which has since been passed on to many ninjas from the hidden leaf as a part of their spiritual heritage. It states that the entire village is like a large family unit and every hidden leaf shinobi with the Will of Fire loves, believes, cherishes, and fights to protect the village, as previous generations had done before them.
This is what gives Hiden Leaf shinobi the strength to continue fighting against all odds, building willpower and strength of character. It is also symbolic of the hopes and dreams of the previous generation being passed on to the next.
Itachi's Will of Fire turned into power for him to use, becoming the Amaterasu.
but these were his old powers. thanks to Igneel, these powers were gone, and Itachi's powers were no longer limited to these worlds, this led to Itachi birthing far more powerful abilities, Tartarus was his new ability... but don't think this illusion was limited to making people suffer, Itachi was the god of these illusions he had created, he just had more freedom and control over it compared to Tsukuyomi... and unlike Tsukuyomi, he didn't even need to look at a target.
"My lord, I mean no disrespect... but why is it you pulled me away from Lord Igneel?" Itachi asked to which Momonga sighed.
"back in Igneel's world, you were his favorite character from this world. So, he would spoil you more than others. to avoid others getting jealous, you will be under me" Momonga said with a helpless sigh, leaving Itachi speechless for some time, before he nodded.
"Go on and return home, you will not be needed for some time. sit back, and start a family. if you need anything, just ask." Momonga said to which Itachi nodded before disappearing.
Momonga sighed while sitting back on his throne of death, before looking around at the 13th floor... it truly looked like the home of the god of death. this place made him feel... like he was at home. so, he liked to come here, and just close his eyes. but he couldn't do that for too long as he had to move as Igneel was a forgetful person.
"You called my lord?" Renner stopped before the throne to Momonga and got to one knee,
"Yes, go to earth and help Nishikienrai in conquering that world. Although I'm sure that Nishikienrai can do it, I don't want to waste manpower." Momonga said to which Renner nodded lightly.
"May I see Master before I leave?" She said in a sweet and innocent voice,
"I don't see why not..." Momonga said feeling unease with this girl. she gives him the same bad feeling Lilith gave him every time she eyes him, but at least the feeling Renner gave off wasn't aimed toward him. Momonga's body shook slightly remembering Lilith, she always looked at him like how a dog looks at a bone. it honestly scared him and he stayed far away from her.
Renner didn't stay and got up to go see Igneel, but just as Momonga was about to rest, he saw a charming beauty entering the throne room while eyeing him in lust. Momonga's body shook as he sat up,
"L-Liith, what are you doing here," Momonga asked in a shaky voice, feeling like something bad was about to happen.
"I made some cookies, I was wondering if you wanted to eat them." She said while taking out some evil demonic-looking cookies. Momonga wanted to say no right away, but seeing her hopeful look he froze.
"I didn't know you could cook," Momonga said, to which Lilith smiled sweetly.
"I have been learning so I can surprise you. I put my heart and soul into it... so I hope you like it." She said with a blush. leaving Momonga no choice but to take a bite... he secretly cast a spell that would bring him back to life... just in case.
"... it's good," Momona said in shock after taking a bite, although he was in a human form, he normally didn't have the power to taste anything. So, when eating something and it came off as good, he was stunned.
"Igneel was right. I added all of the instant death poison I could find into these." She said in joy, making Momonga's eyes twitch for a second. but he quickly realized it might have some benefit to him thanks to his race.
Momonga was about to say something, but froze when Lilith put a cookie to his mouth, wanting to feed him. he could only awkwardly take the cookie, which made Lilith pout slightly.
