Li Rui looked at the man standing in front of her with a weird gaze as she covered her body with the blanket.

Perhaps Xi Ying realized that there was something wrong with his words but still he couldn't find anything wrong.

"Do you need any help?"

Li Rui just shook her head. Xi Ying pursed his lips and whispered

"Then I'll go out."

He had just finished his words and turned around when he heard a whimper. Swiftly turning around, Xi Ying saw Li Rui sitting on the edge of the bed with a frown.

He walked in long strides towards the bed and picked her from the bed.

"Rui, where does it hurt?"

He should have known that she would reject his help.

His hand clutched the blanket to remove it from her body so that he can take a look at the place where she was hurt but his hand suddenly held.
