Chapter 23: Day Two

Since the snow leopard could swallow fireballs, Ashur knew that he had to use a different form of attacking.

Perhaps the snow leopard could absorb Elemental Magic, but what about metal weapons? To test his theory, Ashur summoned a small dagger and swiftly threw it at the snow leopard.

The snow leopard barely batted an eyelid, and simply opened its mouth, promptly engulfing the dagger.

As the dagger entered its body, it yelped slightly in pain. So it wasn’t immune to the sharp weapon’s blade after all.

Ashur nodded, satisfied with the outcome. He knew how he could defeat the snow leopard now.

Raising up a hand, Ashur summoned a small spiky iron ball, and flung it in the snow leopard’s direction.

As expected, the snow leopard opened its mouth to swallow it.

Just a moment later, it howled in agony. The spikes had caused it significant internal damage, as Ashur had intended.

In an instant, the snow leopard vanished into thin air.
