Chapter 22: Chapter 19
A battle is currently raging on across the planet of Naboo. The government officials who's not part of the two organizations was currently in turmoil as they struggled to hold on to the situation and preserve everything.
Even Padme and her now husband Anakin has also got caught of the wind of rebellion. They don't know what's happening as the actual intelligence hasn't reach them yet. They only knew that a rebellion has been lit up.
On one of the city defense force buildings a bloody battle has been happening. The loyalists to the government against the rebels has clashed. The loyalists was absolutely been overpowered by the sheer firepower of their enemies. Their blaster rifles has not even managed to fire back at the enemy.
The traitors amongst the loyalists also gave them a headache. They have their blaster rifles and was on their flanks. They're getting pushed back to the chief's office as time slowly passed by.
"Damn it! Where's the starfighters we are requesting from the nearby cities!" growled a captain as he tried to stick his head but a bolt from the lasgun of the enemy almost hit him.
"Sir the nearby cities was also hit by the rebellion! Some might have already fallen by now!" reported a private ranked soldier as they tried to shrink themselves as small as possible to avoid being hit by the enemy. They know that the enemy can penetrate their covers so they're forced to change covers almost every minute as their covers would be riddled with a baby fist's sized holes.
At this moment the sound of a metal clanking has reached their ears as they saw a grenade near them.
"Move aw-" the words of the captain was cut off as the grenade suddenly exploded dismembering their whole body like a destroyed lego building. Blood flowed through the pristine white floor as the rebels moved forward and charged to the chief's office to kill those who wouldn't surrender and finally raise the flag of the Imperium on this building.
Naboo, on the capital city, Theed...
The whole city was in turmoil as a battle was happening on almost every street. What looks like a repeat of the droid army invasion was looming in the horizon as the royal guards was slowly overwhelmed and killed trying to evacuate the still loyal higher level officials including Padme and Anakin to the hangar which houses the starship to be used by them to escape.
The royal guards has traitors amongst its rank which made the evacuation take too long but the traitors was eventually killed by Anakin when they tried to block their path with a hail of blaster fire.
The rebels are experiencing intense resistance as the royal guards was holed up in the palace. The tanks assigned to these rebels was somewhere on the launch pods of the strafighters trying to breach it and stop them from flying around and turning the tides.
On the top most floor of the largest building on Theed, some of the upper echelons of the two organizations was absolutely silent as they feel fear that the rebellion might fail and they be tried for treason and locked up in jail. The Space Marines inside intently observed each one of them for any signs of wavering belief, ready to turn them into meat pastes.
"Please succeed! Please succeed!" prayed a man silently which caught the attention of a space marine as he slowly walked towards the man and tapped his shoulders.
"Are you losing your faith in our lord and god the Emperor?" questioned the space marine as he placed his hand upon his combat knife.
"Absolutely not great warrior of the Emperor! I won't lose my faith to his majesty!" immediately answered the man as he felt indescribable fear coursing through his veins.
"Be sure or else..." threatened the space marine as he lightly tapped the hilt of his combat knife and returned to his post.
At this moment the witch hunter babe was chilling on her seat while monitoring the whole battle. She was tasked on accomplishing the first step of the grand plan. She has no plans to fail.
As a transmission has sounded, the officers of the two organizations responsible for communication has immediately reported the matters to the witch hunter babe.
"My lord, the soldiers we have sieging the palace has encountered stiff resistance as the royal guards apparently stocked up blaster rifles and has a heavily fortified position making it hard for our men to advance." reported a female officer as she gave the report to the witch hunter babe.
The witch hunter just nodded slightly and lifted her head to look at the squad leader of the space marines. The space marine's squad leader nodded slightly as he pulled out his chainsword and looked at the rest. The rest pulled out their standard issued heavy bolters and cocked it.
The heavy bolters which typically has a 1 caliber bullet for its bullet specifications and has a relatively high fire rate and is pretty cheap to field is a true monster. Imagine a modern day awm then double the diameter of its bullet which should be around the size of a red bull can then give it the shape and fire rate of an smg and there you have it, a heavy bolter.
A chainsword is essentially a sword with a chainsaw teeth running around its edges. A great tool for ceasing anyone's heresy.
The space marine leader then turns the chainsword on and the buzzing noise of death surrounded the room. Let the killing begin!

A rhino transport vehicle was seen thundering down the streets of Theed as it barged from building to building. The captain of the rebels that was sieging the palace as they received the order to make way for the upcoming reinforcements. The captain, now wanting to disobey the orders immediately have the rebels retreat a couple of meters away and opened up a large portion of the street to the palace as per the orders. The rebels was actually really mad on why they retreated and they even wanted to kill the captain but luckily the captain said it was an order and they just silently obeyed it.
The royal guards on the other hand was at least able to breathe a sigh of relief as their enemies "retreated" Now, they only needed to hold on and wait for the reinforcements they expect from he other cities.
At this time Padme together with the other loyalists was trying to flee from the palace to the royal Starship on the hangar. The queen and a couple of other ministers and nobles was already nowhere to be found and didn't leave any orders. They already suspected that they've betrayed the planet and the republic as they sided with the rebels. So now, the loyalists people was following Padme and her husband to escape from the planet and report this matter to the republic. The same tactic they've used before with the exception of the mysterious force.
"Your highness, why have they done this?" asked a noble as he didn't thought that some people will actually start a rebellion.
"It's probably staged and prepared for many years and was supported by large organizations!The peacekeepers can't possibly just hiding, they must've been the rebels! Also they can't have that weird powerful rifles that surpasses a blaster rifle just by relying on local things" answered Anakin as he looked around to try and see if anyone has followed them.
When this was all happening the rhino vehicle has already barged inside the palace and it was used by the rebels as a moving cover. The royal guards didn't expect this and was overwhelmed instantly as the rebels mercilessly killed all of them.
The Rhino transport vehicle has stopped and there, the squad of the space marines slowly walked out as they stepped on the dead bodies of the royal guards.
A royal guard who managed to see all of this was truly horrified on what he's seeing. He's covered with blood as the men beside him died. He started to run on the direction of the hangar to warn the loyalists and Padme.
The captain of the space marines ordered for 3 other to follow him to chase the royal as he ordered the other 6 to provide the necessary support for the rebels.
The space marines complied and immediately went to work.
As the group of Padme quickly walked towards the hangar and to the starship they saw a royal guard with blood all over his face slowly limp walking towards them.
Padme saw this and immediately rushed to the guard as Anakin too followed. But before they can reach him, a loud echo of a plasma pistol sounded and the beam of pure plasma travelled towards the royal guard. Upon hitting the guard, his whole upper body disappeared without traces. No blood, no muscles, nothing was left.
Anakin immediately pulled out his lightsaber as he motioned for Padme to run and escape.He tried to sense what's coming through the Force but it betrayed him that he can't sense anything and only something weird that he didn't feel before. This made him totally cautious as he doesn't know what he'll fight.
"Go now! I'll hold whatever that thing that caused the bang!" shouted Anakin to Padme who was still reluctant to leave.
"No! I won't leave you!" said Padme in stubbornness.
This time, they heard a group of loud metal clanging with asphalt as they loomed at the dark corridor in which the royal guard came from.
The sound of buzzing was echoing as it slowly became loud and caught the attention of the two. The other loyalists looked at them and urged them to leave their position and escape.
As Anakin steeled himself to see who's the one causing that large sounds Padme held on his robe and whispered something.
"I won't leave you even if I die." whispered Padme as she pulled out her own blaster pistol out of her dress.
The dark hall has finally revealed 4 8ft tall men clad in heavy armor wielding melee weapons of all sorts. A chainsword, a variety of power weapons such as power sword, and many more.
They slowly walked towards the position of Padme and Anakin and stopped a couple of meters from them.
Everyone from the loyalists faction including Padme and Anakin was scared shitless with the appearance of these 4 men. They felt primal fear as they can't move their feet. Anakin was slightly better off compared to everyone as he managed to clad himself with the force to protect him from the fear he's feeling.
Anakin steeled himself and asked.
"Who are you? Why are you doing this?"
The 4 men didn't reply but instead activated their respective weapons and charged.
