Chapter 8: Chapter 07
"Is anyone there?"
"Help!!"
"I'm stuck here!"
I don't know for how long I had been like this, lying on the floor unconscious. I don't remember anything, how did I reached here? Where the hell am I? And most importantly who the hell bought me over here? At this place? I can't see anything due to the fact that that it's dark outside and there are no artificial lights in the room.
I tried to get up but failed and ended up falling on the cold floor again. I groaned in pain due to the sudden fall. What the hell?? Why am I unable to move? What the hell is happening to me? It feels as if I'm drugged. I tried to crawl with all the power I could muster up and try to grasp something when I hit a corner of the room.
With the support of the wall, I got up and tried to find the door. However, before I could reach the door, I saw a silhouette of a man in hoodie sitting in the large glass window of the room. The negligible light coming though window due to half moon is illuminating only the body shape of this man and nothing else. He was facing out of the window sitting without any movement as if he was unaware of all the efforts I've taken so far.
The silence in the room was scarier. I wonder who was this person? Is he the one to take me here or precisely my abductor? Then why isn't he doing anything after knowing that I'm concious? Or it can be that he is also kidnapped just like me? If it is so, then why is he not doing anything to escape from here.
"Who are you?" I couldn't keep curiosity at bay and asked him in my feeble voice. He turned towards me and stayed there but never said anything which didn't help my curious self even a bit.
"I asked you something! Who are you?" I asked again, and this time a bit sternly. He took a step or two toward me before halting when he saw saw me crouching back in fear. He chuckled. HE FREAKING LAUGHED ON MY STATE!
"Why don't you guess yourself, Love?"
I gasped! I can't see his face but I can recognize that voice anytime and anywhere. The same voice that caused goosebumps all over my body, the one that cause chills travel down my spine. I was frozen on my spot.
"What happened, Love?"
He asked again seeing me frozen and I can feel him smirking behind those words. He took few predatory steps forward towards me and I couldn't do anything but stare at his hooded figure in darkness.
After a few moments he was just an inch away from me and I can now see his eyes. The same eyes that I can't forget even in my dreams. Suddenly, the air around me became heavier. It felt like I couldn't breath! And then..
I woke up, breathing heavily and gasping for air.

Elena's POV
It has been a week since I've started working for Malhotras. Everything was going smoothly. There was no sign of Mr. Mighty Annoying Malhotra but there wasn't even a single moment I stopped thinking about him and what all he could do to me. He is handsome, no doubt! But dangerous kind of handsome. And danger attracts me towards itself like a magnet.
The nightmares had stopped for a while this week but then I saw one, again, this morning. This one was different from others. Among all the nightmares regarding this particular "Rude Malhotra" faced monster, this one was the only where where HE did anything else except scaring me, glaring me and smirking at me.
"He may be a theif! Because whenever he is in close proximity to me, he steals all my oxygen leaving me breathless, gasping for air."
HE talked to me! Not really talked but you know what I mean right? I really don't want to meet him again in my life but I know that's not possible when he is the owner of the hous.. Mansion I work in. It has been a week since he's gone and he might come back anytime now.
Many things have changed in one week. My and Aarav's friendship has become stronger. I'm too attached to him to leave this job now. It's like he is one of the important person in my life and I can literally do anything to keep him safe.
Gaurav sir is not as strict as he tried to show on the day of my interview here. He's sense of humor is amazing. Always tries to make anyone around him happy. I never felt uncomfortable around him.
Yuvraj Mehra. He is a nice person. My first and a very good friend here. He is a big time flirt and flirts with me whenever he gets a chance. Whenever he complements me I can't help myself but blush. But hey! It's not my fault that he is charming and flirts with me at any given chance. He looks at me like he wants me in his life and that too badly but he never vocalized his feelings.
Maybe I'm the one overthinking here but when I told Sophia about this.. Oh well I told sophia about everyone over there except for Manik Malhotra. And I've my own reasons to do so. First, I don't like him so I just don't want to talk about him to anybody and ruin mine and their moods as well. And second, I don't want Sophie to get worried for me regarding Manik sir.
Even if I told her anything regarding our first and only meet then I don't think she'll let me work over a place where "NO ONE CARES ABOUT MY FEELINGS ADD SELF RESPECT!!". Her words not mine. It's not like that, everyone over there are nice, they care for me and respect me even Gaurav sir takes care me. I can't just leave my job because of Manik sir now, can I? Nope.
Arghh!! Why the hell this Manik Malhotra can't leave me head! I'm so frustrated because of him! Why do I've end up thinking of him everytime?? Anyways, So I was saying when I told Sophie about Yuvraj and his behavior towards me, she was sure he's interested in me and started her "momma" lecture about how I should first know him first before saying yes to him.
I rolled my eyes at the memory. I mean come on! Why would someone like Yuvraj Mehra, One of the most handsome bachelor of town, would take any kind of interest in a common girl like me! Huhh.

I entered the mansion today in a very cheerful mood. Why not? I'm gonna meet my Aarav! Yup he's my cutie pie! And also my.. ehem.. Friend. Yuvraj.
While thinking all of this I hurried inside the mansion because I was already late. I've to wake Aarav up and then get him ready for school! Just when I was about to step on the on the staircase, someone else who was coming from opposite side bumped with me and I fell backward on the ground while he kept standing there.
Off course he is well built! Why would he even budge due to someone like me?
I groaned rubbing my elbow and raised my head to glare at the person and saw the person I never wanted to encounter with in my whole life. There he was! Manik Malhotra! My nightmare!
"What? Won't you run away today? I was waiting for that actually." He mocked me when he saw me doing nothing but staring.. Oops.. Glaring at him. God? Why me? I mean out of all the people in the world, he was the only one who had to bump with me that too early in the morning??
"Oh I was just waiting for you to apologize you know?" I answered him while standing up on my feet.
"Apologize? For what?" He asked confused.
"For bumping into me and making me fall down? And then having the audacity to just stare at me and not helping me get up?" I raised my eyebrows at him.
"In your dreams miss and I thought I told you to stay away from me? Then why do you always try to find an opportunity to stick around me? Are you that desperate Miss bak bak?" He said all the while smirking at me. While by blood boiled listening to his words.
"Who the hell do you think you are to judge me like that? And desperate? Me? That too for you? In your dreams mister! I've seen better!" I replied with my own attitude.
I can say he was enjoying my rage by that constant smirk on his face but then he frowned listening that I've seen better and his smirk faltered. Huhh! Boys and their ego!!
"Ohh really? Okay then tell me the name of any one of such guy?" He smirked again. Arghhh I so want to punch that oh-so-handsome face of his!
Okay.. Umm I never expected that so I don't know what to say. "Uhh.. That.. Ye..Yess why not?? He.. He is.. He is YUVRAJ!" I said fumbling at the beginning but then saw Yuvraj coming this way and took his name with a huge smile on my face. Thank God!
"Yuvr.. What???" He looked shocked.
"Hey! What's happening here? Is everything alright?" Yuvraj came forward and asked side hugging me.
I saw Manik sir clenching his jaw while looking at us and then left without a word. Yuvraj looked confused while I smirked looking at his retreating figure.
