Chapter 14: Limited
He limped through the cobblestone streets, attracting attention from nearby players and NPCs. Most assumed it was another number on the death counter, some assumed he lost friends or family, even some thought it was a attempted suicide. These thoughts and expressions were of nothing new to him. He's had enough of those.

"Hey bud" A Caucasian male said brushing back Young Daniel's hair away from his face, his bruises shone. His eyebrows curled into a worried expression and his mouth folded into one of pity.
The man stood back up and walked to the elder still teaching the determined students. A women rushed to Young Daniel's side and dragged him behind a closed door.
"Dad.." Young Daniel said as he saw the doors closing onto the man standing before the elder.
"Come" Daniel's father said taunting Mazoku. He walked to the side of the dojo, ripping a long bamboo pole from the wall. He stood strong, and slammed the bamboo staff into the ground. Mazoku followed suit, grabbing a thin wooden sword.

"Kid, give it" He was pushed to the side by a taller man with baggy skin and a dirty beard. "Huh?" Daniel glared at the man. The scruffy man gulped and spoke. "You heard me, give me whatever you got in that dungeon" He said poking out his chest trying to increase his threatening features.
"Please move, I've had a long day" Daniel said brushing the man to the side and walking only a few inches before he was stopped once again by a loud roar.
"Right, I'll have you for that!" The scruffy man shouted grabbing onto Daniel's shoulder and flipping him around to face him.
Daniel reacted by stabbing him through the eye with a worn dagger. The scruffy man dropped to the ground, surprised to feel pain.
'How does it hurt?' He thought holding his eye. Daniel grabbed his hair and kicked the bagger further into his skull.
"FUCK!" He shouted falling to the ground trying to pry the dagger out of his head.
"It may not be able to damage you nor hurt you, but let it be a warning if you fuck with me again I won't hold back and split your skull in two!" Daniel said staring down a little rat dying on the street.
A distinct fear was in Scruffy's eyes, He slowly crawled backwards trying to escape the demon before him.
Daniel stood next to him, prying the dagger out of his skull. The man stood frozen in fear, tears formed around the edge of the blade and down the hilt.
Daniel ripped the dagger out, a burst out of red particles came out of the gap in Scruffy's head.

The man layed stunned on the ground. Daniel looked at the crowd forming, most gazed at him in disgust, some looked at him in fear.
Daniel only smirked in their disdain. "Haha, my god!" He suddenly fell to his knees in hysteria.
"I serve this as a warning to all, leave me alone or follow in this scumbags footsteps!" Daniel said pointing his dagger to the swarm of players.
"Wha-" Before the rat could get up he was beaten back into the ground by Daniel's heel.
Daniel spat on the rat of a man. "Trash" Daniel released his foot walking back onto the street with mad gazes pointed in his direction.
Like the great seas the crowd of people split in two, making a clear walking path for Daniel.
"Hehe" He giggled as he walked into a thick fog that appeared for no reason. He soon vanished without a trace.

In a alley way a couple of blocks away from the situation layed Daniel on his knees. "Holy shit" He gripped onto his chest, like he was trying to keep his heart from falling out.
He was hyperventilating, breathing as hard as a cough. Daniel fell to ground, letting go of all the stress from his body.
"I can't keep doing this" He said closing his eyes, rubbing his eyes.

"I'm afraid he has heart disease, and the technology we have here is limited and I gonna take a guess and say you wouldn't have enough money anyway" A tall asian man said handing a clipboard to a young couple.
Another tall man with blonde hair and white skin scratches his eyes and sighed at the misfortune he was dealt. The woman next to him fell to the ground in tears looking at the report.
"Argh- Erroo- Ahh" The woman's words were interrupted by her unceasing tears and sobbing. The man beside could only hug her and brush her hair, "I'm sure he'll be fine" He said.
"Daniel will be fine, right doc?" The blonde man stared down the doctor, making him shiver. "I can't say anything" He bowed and paced his way into the white hall way with his badge dragging behind him.
The parents of Daniel were left in the room to sob over their misfortune.
