Chapter 11: Fated To Meet I

The crimson moon casts its eerie glow upon the dark and starless sky. Serenity cannot help but feel a chill run down her spine, yet she remained transfixed, unable to avert her gaze from such a haunting sight. 

The moon has always been big and round but never been this menacing as if it came straight out of a painting with the crimson paint still fresh and wet

Jen, her loyal and devoted servant, did caution her of the perils that lay hidden beneath the veil of darkness on this fateful night. 

A blood moon is a harbinger of ill fate, she said, it foretells of an impending doom or perhaps a tragedy that has already come to pass.

Once more a shiver ran through her spine. This time, she forced her musings to a halt when she realized that it brought her more harm than good.
