Chapter 9: The Traitor I

Eliana stirred from the floor. She slowly fluttered her eyes open and swept the room with her eyes. Everyone had already left, and she's the only one in the room now, but that's what she thought at first until her gaze dropped to the black witch lying on the floor and realized there's the two of them.

The black witch lay unmoving on the floor. Eliana knew she was still alive. She also knew she would be dead soon. The poison racing in her veins has no cure, but there's a chance she will survive. It's by black magic and a virgin sacrifice.

She tore her gaze away from the black witch and eased herself up. Forcing her body to sit up made her dizzy. She closed her eyes firmly, waited for the nauseating feeling to disappear before she lifted her eyes open again.

Her favorite dress was soaked with her blood. It had been a beautiful white before, but now it's drenched in crimson because of too much blood she lost from the gaping wound in her neck.
