Chapter 2: BEGINNING

I was in the school gym, this was my hiding place whenever I was having a problem because there are no people here it was like my sanctuary for the time like this.
What if I die?
What will happen to me?
Where would I go?
Those are the questions repeatedly spinning in my head right now what if? So many what if? Wait I should be happy because my end is near.
"BOOOGGGSSHH!!!!!!!"
"Jesus! What was that?" I was shocked when those pile of cartoons fell on the ground.
"Wait? Those piles fell? It is impossible, as far as I can remember I was only one here."
"Where did it came from? Let me see" I said as I carefully scan the pile of cartons on the ground God it is very messy here it is very important place to me why are those people keep polluting earth. Junk food's plastics is scattered everywhere.
"let me check." I carefully scanned all the corners when my eyes landed on the ground I started to notice our school blazer for men was in the ground wait is there anyone here? It seems like someone was here a while ago. I continue scanning the place where I found the uniform and then I saw a man's body. Wait is he dead? Oh my god? Did he? Wait let me check if he is still breathing. Thank God he is alive but who is he? I gently push his body towards me so I can see his face.
Oh my God he is Clyde Madrigal the campus heartthrob, but what is he doing here? He is sleeping with stray dog what the hell, is this our campus girl's definition of heartthrob? Well, I guess it is.
"Excuse me mister, wake up" I gently tap his shoulder hoping for his response but no avail.
"hmmm.." he murmured to me and turned he's back and hug the stray dog oh yuck it was gross, he should have keep this tiny cute creature if he want it maybe this little cute will live longer how can he afford to let this dog wonder around.
"Hey wake up!" I shouted to him. And throw him carton on his back.
"What?" He answered back, it seems like I disturb him with his deep slumber.
"Why are you here? And why are you hugging that dog?" I asked and handed him my handkerchief. He gladly accepts it and wipe his face.
"I don't want to go home. What do you care?" he said while standing and removing the dust around his body.
"how about you why are you wondering here?" He asked and then he sat down on one of the benches there.
"Ah nothing I was trying to get some air" because I'm ashamed that a Clyde can do that and then I started to feel a little bit dizzy, so I grabbed my forehead and find some good post to keep my balance supported.
"hey, are you alright?" he asked as he tried handed me a sit.
"Yes, I'm fine I just felt dizzy" I answered while massaging my temple hoping it to be relieve.
"You sure?" he asked I could feel his concern towards me as he tried to help me.
"Should we to the infirmary?" He asked.
"I can give you a ride" he offered while showing off his car keys and smiling to me.
"No thankyou but I'm really okay." I answered will shifting my gazed in the other side because he's face is almost close to mine. This was making me chill. Lixen you should behave. Okay I admit he has the looks right! only that.
"Okay maybe a food, should we eat first?" he asks to me "I am hungry maybe I can treat you some" he offered.
"Yes, sure I haven't had my breakfast that is why I get dizzy earlier" I answered back to him while fixing my self getting ready to leave the old gym.
"So, shall we?" he asked while motioning his hand towards me as if he is asking me to be a date, oh maybe I was just assuming things.
"Oh yes! Yes sure" I answered to him. As we start to walk several students saw us, I should ready myself maybe I would be the talk of the town.
"OMG!! Is she Clyde's new girlfriend?"
"She is beautiful they are perfect match together."
"Don't mind them" Clyde told me, and I nodded as I walk.
As soon as we enter the cafeteria the students are also increasing its number and as I thought a while ago, I become the talk of the town. After we choose a seat Clyde immediately go and make an order. As usual, he get me a pair of rice bacon and hotdogs and same as him we had no choice because we are late for our breakfast, so the student had already purchased the most expensive meal, but it is a good breakfast for me.
"Clyde? Can I ask you something?" I ask.
"Sure, what is it? He answered back.
"Who is the owner of the dog that you're hugging earlier?" I ask while shifting my gaze I know this is very lime question, but I really love dogs and it torment my heart seeing that dog earlier being neglected so I become curious.
"Ah I name her Ehle" he paused, and his face become serious.
"She was abused dog, I can still remember when I was walking in the street near in my house when her owner throw her in street, her owner keep shouting to her because she don't want her anymore but Ehle keeps on going back to them every time that her owner is going home she happily welcoming her while wagging his tail but in return she only got kick from her owner that is the time I interfere and sue her owner for animal abuse." He explained, I was too shock to hear that poor doggo was abused she was living in pain for all these years.
"Where is she now?" I ask to him.
"She is in the vet clinic but I ask my assistant to fetch her to have some fresh air, she is undergoing for some treatment and the doctor prohibited of taking her a bath until she is not fully recovered but she is totally fine now she is just needing few rests." He added.
"What are you planning to do with her?" I asked I wanted to adopt her if he permits me.
"I am planning to adopt her" He answered and smiled back to me.
