Chapter 33: Where's the fire ball?
Hailey was coming out of her room when she saw her elder brother and elder cousin coming upstairs. She happily ran towards them.
''Brother!''
Archer looked at Hailey running towards them and said, ''Slow down or else you will trip and fall''.
Hailey came and hugged Archer. Archer patted her head and said, ''How are you?''
''Let her fall and then we would stay back at home to take care of her''. Ryan said and Hailey pouted.
''Do you want me to fall and get hurt?'' Hailey asked.
Ryan shook his head and said, ''I was joking angry bird. Anyways where's the fireball?''
''Over here''. The three averted and looked at Tessa who was standing there with her arms crossed around her chest and her eyebrow raised.
''Where were you two?'' She asked with a questioning gaze.
''I went to find a beautiful man for you but ended up coming home empty-handed''. Ryan replied.
''And I was busy guiding Ryan where to go and find someone for you''. Archer added.
Tessa wined and said, ''How can you both talk with me like that?''
''Just like we did right now''. Ryan said.
''I hate you brother''. Tessa said.
''Ryan! Did you ever said that you love her?'' Archer said trying to control his smile.
Ryan shook his head and replied, ''I never said something so horrible''.
Hailey laughed and came forward as she said, ''Stop teasing my poor little sister. She's already exhausted''.
''Oh Yeah, I can understand that it's difficult to handle two jobs at a time''. Archer said. ''Our Tess is so hard-working''. He added.
Tessa smiled widely as she received the compliment.
''Brother Archer, you are the best''. She said and passed annoying gaze to Ryan.
Ryan came closer and wrapped his arm around her shoulder as he said, ''I love teasing you''.
''I know!''Tessa said.
''Then why are you mad at me?'' Ryan asked her.
''Because you don't have time for us''. She replied.
''I was busy anyways can you please help me and Archer to skip going to dinner please?'' Ryan said and Archer also nodded his head as he looked at Tessa with hopeful eyes.
''What can I do brother? You know no one can ignore elder father's orders''. Tessa said.
Hailey agreed and said, ''Tess is right. It's better for you two to just get ready now''.
Ryan and Archer shook their heads.
''I know brother Archer doesn't want to go because of Ash but what's your reason brother Ryan?'' Hailey asked.
''There's no reason. I don't like these boring family gatherings''. Ryan said.
