Chapter 2: 2

I felt the familiar feeling of being scanned like a piece of meat. I glare at them keeping my boys behind me."What do you want?" I asked keeping my eyes on them more spasificly their hands. "Well lass seems you read my mind. I was just about to ask the same. Who are you and what are you doing out here?" The broad white beard one asked. If it were not for months here. I wouldn't be able to understand the thickness of his accent. "My name is Iris these are my sons Aaron, Ainsley, and Alasdair. We are just trying to find our way home." I said looking at him pleading with god for them to let us go. "Oh they your lads what your sir name?" He asked in a somewhat friendly tone. "Chisholm sir and what may your name be? It's only fair since you asked us." It was Aaron asked putting me behind him. "Oh tough lad but I am afraid that information is not yours to have. We will take them with us. " he said having me ride with him. My boys road with one of the men traveling. We made it to a small cabin. A man was in the center of the room by the fire. I noticed another woman like me in nothing but a white night dress. My attention was driven back to the man. He was holding his arms as if it were to fall off. I stepped forward to the man the men grabbed knives. I placed my hand on the man's shoulder. "Popped out of socket. *sigh * You two hold him." I said looking at two of the men. One was scrony while the othe was plump as an apple. "We ain't following orders from no dumb woman." The fat one said. "Fine Aaron, Ainsley,Alasdair  Come hold him." They do as I say when they were in position, I looked at the man. "Sorry this is going to hurt." I said taking his hand. In moments his arm was back in place. "I need cloth to make a sling." I said looking at the men. I roll my eyes before taking the blade from the man. With the blaid I sliced my night dress making a sling. "There no using that arm till I say got it?" I said giving him the look I gave the boys when they did something stupid. "Ai will do." He said looking at we with appreciation. I nod looking at the man that brought us here. He looked at me with suspicious eyes. "You kidding me? If you knew how many times those three broke a bone or Popped something. Honestly taking after them was a full time occupation." I laughed  "Mom?!" The three said embarrassed. "Come on we need to move out. The red coats will be on us soon." The woman started to argue till I grabbed her. "Listen here you screw up any chance my boys and I make it out alive. I will slit you troat and bathe in your blood." She looked at me frightened. "Now lets go" I said pushing her out the door into the rain. I come to know her name is Clair and we have more in common than I thought.
