Chapter 2: God of the Sea

The world began with several Primordial beings.

The first of which came Chaos, then Gaea—Earth, and finally Eros—love.

Then from Gaea there came Uranus—Heaven, and both of them came together in union to create their favorite children, the Titans and many more like the Elder Cyclopes, and the Hundred Handed-Ones.

Uranus disliked his children other than the Titans because they were ugly, so he chained them up and threw them into Tartarus—The Pit.

Gaea, sick of seeing her children imprisoned in Tartarus, made a great sickle, or scythe, out of the metals of the Earth, then she gave it to her son, Kronos—The Titan of Time and her youngest son, to murder his father with.

Kronos hid until Uranus went to sleep with his mother then leapt out to slice off his father's.....genitalia, which then fell into the sea.

Kronos then cut Uranus up into tiny pieces, and thus Uranus was banished from ever walking the Earth, though he was not truly dead as they are all immortal. But before he was taken out from the world, he made a prophecy that made Kronos go mad with paranoia.

Uranus prophesied that just like Kronos did to him, he too shall be betrayed by his children and cut up into pieces.

Kronos then freed his siblings trapped in Tartarus, and with the power of the scythe he became king of all the Titans.

During the age of Titans, Kronos married Rhea—The Titan of Motherhood and she gave birth to half of the major gods.

As time went past Kronos became worse and worse of a ruler, using intimidation and threats to get whatever he wanted. Kronos was always considered the black sheep in the family due to his hunger and thirst for power, so once he had it he was desperate not to lose it.

Kronos returned the Hundred-Handed Ones and the Elder Cyclopes to Tartarus and chained them there once again.

Still haunted by his father's prophecy and his own paranoia, Kronos tries to stop himself from having sex with his wife, but he couldn't and she eventually gave birth to a daughter so different from any Titan that she couldn't even be considered one—Hestia.

Then Kronos promptly ate her.

Then Rhea cried for a bit, but Kronos told her that it was a mistake and wouldn't happen again. Then they had another child—Demeter.

Then Kronos ate her too.

Rhea cried some more, Kronos comforts, Rhea then gave birth to another baby girl—Hera.

Then Kronos ate her.

Rhea cries, Kronos lies, Rhea gives birth and it's a boy—Hades.

Then Kronos eats him too, but this time he starts getting worried, if Rhea keeps giving birth to gods.....will he be able to eat all of them?

Then Rhea cries some more, Kronos lies again and Rhea gives birth to a baby boy again—Poseidon.

....

"Waaaah! ..huhuhu...Waaah....Waah!"

I seem to hear a baby crying, maybe some one gave birth next door to my hospital room?

I look around with blurry eyes, but I can still clearly tell that this black and gold room isn't my all-white hospital room and that the sound is coming from me.

"Wait! This isn't my hospital room and that crying is me!", I exclaim, but it comes out as baby babbling.

Suddenly, I am turned around in a gentle and soft pair of hands and I see the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. She has warm chocolate-brown hair, amber-hazel eyes, perfectly sculpted nose and eyebrows, and an extremely warm and loving smile. But what I feel toward this woman isn't lust, but rather a child's love for his mother.

I get confused by the sudden attack of this emotion and temporarily stop crying, but then a pair of rough hands grabs me.

"This one is no good either, sorry Rhea, we'll try again next time", A man says in what I think is Ancient Greek, but have no clue how I understand.

"No, we already talked about this!", the woman I think is my new mother screams loudly while sobbing.

"I am your King! And you will obey me!", the man screams back aggressively.

He then lifts me up higher and then opens his mouth wider than I believe to be humanly possible.

I start screaming and crying, but he just looks at me and then starts lowering me into his abyss like mouth.

I am oh so painfully aware of what is happening to me now and where I am at, but my intense fright from getting progressively closer to my future prison and torture chamber makes me not think straight and I try looking at my mother for help, but that doesn't do anything, she just keeps on crying.

And then the man I now believe is Kronos places me in his mouth, clamps shut tight like a bear trap and swallows and all I see is darkness.
