I just noticed that I was asked to review the other novel, HAPPY EVER AFTER, and not this one. Well, guess I'm doing both! The Good: The characters are solid with enough backstory that one can relate to them. The author has created a fairly interesting premise and kept it unique enough that it doesn't feel like every other apocalypse novel out there. The Bad: Grammar mistakes galore, but I feel like it is a result of translation so if I consider that then it isn't so bad. The story itself is great and well-paced, but I feel like it doesn't know what it wants to be. (It starts as a sad drama, then a happy romance, and then an apocalypse survival.) Suddenly saying "12 years later" really forces the readers to make a lot of assumptions. It would be nice to know how Lucas and Erin met again considering they escaped a plantation from somewhere when they were kids. The Neutral: While the plot is fairly entertaining, having us assume so much about the world, Emily, and Lucas makes it very easy for people to get the wrong idea about how certain events actually happened according to the author. I do understand that the author is not forcing the reader through the plot and that's good, but we still need a little guidance. The author should try to be careful with the timeline... the kids were ranging from the ages of 8-12 in Chapter 2 and Lucas was on the plantation for 5 years in chapter 4 so we assume he is 12 at the time of the escape. Strangely, the older kids never bothered trying to escape you said, so is Lucas the exception? The author struggles a bit with translating certain tenses, but I do see that those become less and less as I got further into the story. Keep it up and do not stop writing.

‘Been wondering why Seen Zone Z.... Anyways, I’ve been following this story for months now. Glad to be part of the top fan. Lead male / female were friends during their younger years. I thought it will be more of friendship/romance story but a sudden twist turned it to a different story. Suspense and science fiction. I love that part of searching for grandpa.. I also like the twist and turn of the stories Thanks to the author for the updates. Congrats and Godbless❤️❤️❤️

The story is well-written and the plot is interesting and offers a rather unique premise. Although there are grammatical mistakes, they can be improved with the time. Background is little lacking, i think it needs a little describing to understand better. But no doubt, this story has a great potential. And i recommend everyone to read it at least once.

So beautiful and great at describing the pain and emotion of the kids and bringing in the character that break the ice and make the story more better with their actions. I added this to the library.

I’m honestly intrigued. The way you present child charachters is surprisingly realistic, with their straightforward words and straight to the point phrases. I’m enjoying the way you flesh out the mc quite a lot. Love to see where it’ll go.
The style of writing is pretty good, neat and quite good written. Both leads are well described especially Erin as the female lead and they're really interesting characters. Great dark vibes I might say, author is really good at writing the dark part and the action scene as I found myself immersed on it. Story development has been good so far, the anticipation and guessing keeps me at the edge every time. The story line is also so easy to follow and will trap you with its cliff hangers. The bad: It could be personal. The switching from first person to third person and back is a bit annoying. There are some grammar errors here and there, but nothing that would obstruct the readers from following the story. Good cover and synopsis will bring you more readers, the cover is really good for me personally but the synopsis is not, I don't know on pc version but on mobile app the synopsis is a bit too messy. I mean I think the usage of --------- is so unnecessary. "I love you" doesn't always mean "I will stay" —February 13, 11:59pm. Well that's it. My first read of zombie romance and it's enjoyable reading experience. Good luck to you.
Wow!! What a story!! I haven't read anything like this since I started reading webnovels but wow. Okay on to detailed review: 1. Writing quality: Grammar, particularly tenses, is where I feel the author has some room for improvement. But it does not take away from the meaning or flow of the story. The reason I gave it 5/5 is because it deserves extra stars for the story. 2. Stability of Updates: It seems regularly updated. 3. Story Development: Okay, so this is the star of this novel. Amazing story and pacing. Direction is very clear. The first few chapters are sort of intro to the characters and their backstories, which are very compelling, and also heartbreaking. And then, the main story starts and boy, does it blow you away! 4. Character Design: This is really great. The characters are well portrayed with clear motivations. Even their little reactions and interactions are very meaningful and make sense. Not cardboard caricatures at all which I love. 5. World Background: Totally congruent to the nature of the story and nothing feels out of place. And it helps add to the story. I really highly recommend you read it. This story will simply pull you in and you won't stop until you read the entire thing. Thank you, author. I will continue reading it! :D <3
A very emotional and intriguing story. The characters are well developed and relatable. The writing quality develops as the chapters progresses showing how much work the author is putting into his work. Good job author
After reading a couple of chapters, the author has done a fantastic job in showcasing the story detailed and improving in each chapter...The author's writing style and use of words are remarkable...The character design is very well promising...Definitely a recommended book...Excellent work, Author!
I'll admit it was a bit hard to comprehend at first but i love the progression. The writing definitely improved, along with the story, its all beginning to fall into place. The first few chapters had suspense, cliff hangers and some emotional moments which made this quite interesting to read
I liked how the story begins from a very dark place and does not sugar-coat any realities. The pace is also good and the writing style also gets better with each chapter!💯

This novel is awesome! I have been already hooked up with the beginning of this novel. The plot is also exciting and entertaining. Can't wait for more chapters! I would recommend you to give this novel a try, it is definitely worth it! Good Job, Author.
This is a very emotional story. The characters are unique, and they behave like real people would, hence it's a realistic story. I have read another work from the same author, but I prefer this one. I feel that the author has done exceptionally well with this novel.

Overall was a solid story, I would mention that some words are repeated and the descriptions are a little weak. Also more adjectives could be used in the story to draw the reader into the story more. World background so far is a little incomplete but it could just be that way for the mystery. Looks good overall, keep up the good work :)

After reading a couple of chapters of this book I consider you say that it has a good overall tone and the author really pays attention to the details and progression of the story. There's still some room for growth but so far from what I've seen it's looking good .
This review is only after reading the first chapter. I personally don't like lionizing the main character by demonizing their guardian, but this story is better than Harry Potter in that respect. And for that reason I did not take off any points. But I do like the story and hope to read more soon.
The synopsis is extremely interesting. Captivating story from the beginning, cant wait for more uploads. Characters are relatable and I grew fond of them as the story developed. Well written and easy to read. Excellent novel, well done. [img=recommend]

Wow, both a chilling start, and very sad, I am touched. The writing is good quality, and the overall story has a good element of suspense and intrigue that made me want to keep reading on. A few occasional grammatical errors but overall, a really good read! Nice work author!
