Chapter 52: P: From the Top

The Queen of Eks Corp didn't waste time. Eks Corp Security was technically her jurisdiction rather than the King's, though he was the entity she deferred to. The fact that Security had been infiltrated on some level would be laid at her feet, whether she could have prevented it or not.

She'd brought three other people with her, none of whom were simply bodyguards, even though each of them could fulfill that duty admirably. Two of them were sent into the station with quiet words, while the third got to work. Once the security officers who had been involved in the incident had been assured of her rank, and officially debriefed one by one, the queen turned her attention to her sons again.

"I was planning on staying in this section until someone came looking for the imposter," Brendan explained.
