Chapter 145: Understand where you were wrong

During the prehistoric times, I had watched indifferently as more than half of all living things died. Even if I wanted to help how could I? It was impossible.

To kill someone or something for killing sake is fine; they can be tortured for entertainment and so forth. Sadly, the person who is there to provide you with the necessary nourishment is something else. They deserve to be shown mercy. Playing with food is unsightly and it can cause one to lose their appetite.

"The pain will be over now." The words spoken held no emotion, merely indifference.

The hand that shot out shifted, plunging past the shell of flesh gripped the compressed primordial form within and tugged it out. The ugly thing stiffened.
