Chapter 108: The pretender

I never really like torturing people.

In my eyes, I prefer to watch them try to usurp me.

Hehe.

I mean in the time where earth began to fail after the mad Queen had attacked and the 'Otherworldly' beings appeared saying they wanted to 'help' the humans I still lived as before. By then I could be called old, at fifty, but I survived to the wonderful age of a little over one hundred with loyal men. 

How did I do it? 

Pretend. 

How did I pretend? 

By fooling myself. 

How did I even fool myself? 

By studying studiously, reading, watching, taking advice, and listening to said advice... It got me where I am now.
